I called the call center and they say our papers are there but not yet qualified so he said I cant make an interview date. Is this normal? Or is there something to worry about? He says call back in 2 weeks, then said call back after 6 weeks.???

Thanks

I heard the same problem over and over here. I suggest you call USEM and ask Grace or Lorraine to confirm. Some call center agents do not know what they are talking about.

I have tried to call that number for Grace and/or Lorraine but I just get a voice menu, no "live" preson to talk to. It says I must use the call center number. When I call the call center, he did say my papers are there but the have not yet been "qualified" I guess it means proccessed in some way, Thahts why he told me to call back in a few weeks.

What number did you dial to call Grace or Lorraine?

You can reach them thru these #s: (02) 301-2000 or (02) 528-6300. When you get a voice prompt, hit zero until you get a live person to talk to you.

if you are calling from outside the Philippines add the international codes, the number would then be: 011 632 301 2000 extension 5184 or 5185

if you will be calling the call center this is the number for anybody calling outside the Philippines: 1-888-877-9888.

If your papers has just reach the embassy yesterday or this morning, they may have not yet encoded all the pertinent info yet. Try to give them another day or two to encode your file before calling again. For the time being, ask your fiancee to check the link that Riza (Ryan&RIZA) provided and also sheriff uling's K1 visa guide that is Pinned here on Philippine subforum.

Good luck on getting the interview date and God bless always.
