As long as I know, all non-English documents need to be translated into English but notarization for the PC is not necessary.

However, I am not 100% sure about this. Let's see what others say.

Immigration Process (DCF Japan)

08/06/2008 I-130 petition at Tokyo, Japan

08/13/2008 I-130 approved

| Waited until we were ready to move back

07/13/2009 IV interview at Tokyo, Japan

07/15/2009 IV(IR-1) in hand

Post-DCF

08/17/2009 GC(10yrs) received

Done with USCIS until

I read from a VJ thread awhile ago that you can get English Police Certificate from Mabes POLRI in Jalan Trunojoyo, Jakarta Selatan. That way you don't need to translate.

Hope this helps.

Hi tinyrose,

wow this is great news. It will save my time having it translated. Do you also know what the Mabes POLRI requires us to bring in order to get the English Police Certificate? And how long does it normally take to get the Certificate?

Many thanks!
