hi everyone! just have a few questions here. i got here in CA last friday im planning to get my SSN tomorrow would that be ok??

and about AOS, they said that applying for it before the 2nd year wedding anniversary would give me 2 years greencard but apply for it after 2 years would give me a 10 years greencard. my question is our 2nd year anniversary would be on february 2009 6 months from now, would that be ok to wait for it or i need to process AOS as soon as possible??

01.23.08 : NOA1

04.21.08 : mailed I129F

04.22.08 : NOA1

05.14.08 : NOA2 both for I 130 and I 129F

06.26.08 : medical exam 2nd day PASSED!!

07.09.08 : interview day! PASSED! PINK SLIP!

07.15.08 : visa on hand!!!

08.01.08 : POE SFO (home with my papi!)

as k3 we cant apply for ssn yet until we receive the gc or the work permit as what everyone asnwered my previous questions.

you can apply for EAD separately from your AOS and after you have EAD you can get your SSN.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!
