1. Office is an application software. Windows is an system software.

2. Licensing is the ability to use a particular software for a purpose by paying a royalty to the owner.

3. There are different levels of users, business, students, etc...Seperate license categories will create a range of prices. Therefore, more users will be able to take advantage.

4. Microsoft Office is most like used to type papers. But, you need Windows to run Office.
