In around 24 hours my wonderful man will be arriving in Bellingham!

It almost doesn't feel real, but it is happening... my sweetie is moving across the US so we can be together. He packed up his life and got himself in a Penske and as we speak is probably somewhere in Wyoming heading westbound.

If it wasn't for him making this move we'd probably still have to continue being LD. We've only been together since Jan. 23rd of this year so I suppose that if he didn't move then we'd be probably deciding on a back up plan to be together and that may have been to apply for the K1 at some point down the road. We also wouldn't have known when we would have seen each other again since he used up all his vacation time to visit me in March and May. I'm going to be starting a new job (hopefully soon) so time off is out of the question.

We're only going to be one short hours drive away from each other. I feel like such a lucky girl that he's doing this for me and us.

Any advice/suggestions/words of wisdom from the VJ gang is appreciated!

So he's moving to Canada or he's still gonna be in the U.S. but just nearer ???

I'm happy to hear your great news. I can relate to your situation. Roles are reversed in my case though. I'll be moving closer to the border in a short time(not 24 hrs though ).

He and I will be about 1hr or so apart as well. Makes it exciting to know that you can see each other during the week & every weekend if you wanted to!

Thats great Brown Eyes! I lived in White Rock and my husband in Bellingham and we travelled back and forth for the last 2 1/2 years (while we dating and since we got married last June). I finally got to move to Bellingham permanently last week!

I really like it in Bellingham, things are a lot cheaper too....especially gas!
