can someone clear me up on what kind of pic to send along with DS-230? is it 2x2 (2 pics) passport style photo of the beneficiary only? do i also need to send in mine? also do i just write the NVC case #, name and dob of the beneficiary on the back of the pics?

NO you don't send yours as you are the petitioner.

Write NVC case # on back

thats what I did and was accepted.
