08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.07.2010 - Applied for SSN

09.14.2010 - SSN Card received

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

09.20.2010 - Welcome Notice Received ("Welcome to the USA")

09.25.2010 - 10 yr Green Card received! (98 days)

After a two month medical test delay for TB, and four weeks of. YOUR CASE HAS BEEN REFERRED TO THE CONSULAR FOR FURTHER REVIEW. My fiancee has received a text from delbros that the have the visa ready for delivery.

What a relief, We were really worried. There are so many nightmere stories. My fiancee had her interview on July 11th at that time we went ahead and purchase a ticket for the 13th of August.Only to find out that our case had needed further review. ooooooooooooops I just had to cancel the ticket yesterday and then we get the very good news. Missed it by maybe two or three days. oh well its only 75 dollars to re book in on Northwest Airlines. WHO CARE, WE HAVE THE VISA.

It took ten months total from start to finish. But that all will be an ancient memory now. Finally we can relax.
