I recieved the approval for I130 at 9pm last night in my email............

I didn't think they worked that late but whatever!!!!

now time to start worrying about other things lol

You're most welcome Rajaa. Patiently waiting for something makes it all the more better when it actually happens. I hope Jen gets back online soon so she could add your progress on the chart. I have access to it but I do not know how to make it work. So happy for you mashaAllaah. Also, now that you have a choice between which path to take... I would say stick to the CR-1 path. Hopefully if your husband as the PR now in Spain, they could set the interview for embassy in spain or else he'll be directed to the other embassy for moroccons. All the best. Start calling NVC to find out if they have received your case.

Yes, that is the NVC's phone number. It should take them anywere from 1-7 weeks to receive your petition, so you can start calling them next week to see if they received it. All you have to do is follow the instructions the automatic system gives you and plug in your receipt number. If they received your petition, they will assign you a case number.

Rajaa your receipt number should start with three letters...like WAC followed by some numbers. Yes that's NVC's number and the Automated Voice Response will guide you through. Our case reached NVC on 24th and Jen's on 25th of July even though we were approved on the same date so keep checking NVC instead of waiting weeks I would say. I think one way of going ahead with the CR-1 instead of K-3 is to ignore the I-129 and wait for the I-130 to reach NVC. know that sometimes the operators at NVC are not very clear about giving instructions so if possible, keep calling and asking at different time about the Embassy where your husband will be interviewed. you could also write to the Embassy where moroccons are directed to to get information from there.
