Hi Pips , I'm concerned about my Stepdaughter and Wife's petition the way they are been processed. At California Center they were approved in different dates and sent to NVC seperately. I called NVC and my Stepdaughter was given a case # yesterday but my wife not yet. On both of the I-130 I put that they are in conjuction with eachother. My questions are: Will they be processed independently? If so on the "choice of agent form" who signs on behalf of my Stepdaughter (4 years old)? Do they go on different dates for the CR-1 and CR-2 interview?

Thank you for your help !!!

PS:I totally gave up on I-129F , it's been 91 days since I sent the form and 85 days since receipt date.

frank_cuenca,

The consulate will probably handle them 'side-by-side', if not 'together'. Contact the consulate about it when the cases get there.

Either you or your wife can sign the child's DS-3032. Might be just as well for your wife to do it, at the same time as she does her own.

My husband's and stepdaughter's petition was processed at the same time and approved at the same time. Both thier i-130 petition approval was sent in seperate envelopes but the same date. I think they will be processing it together since the step daughters approval depends on the spouses approval.

GOOD LUCK ON EVERYTHING
