By all rights, you should have been done before me. I don't know but maybe my congressman had something to do with them working on my petition. In any case, they're going to finish yours soon. Don't worry!!!

I feel like we've all just gotten out of or are about to be released from prison or slavery or something. It is the weirdest feeling. We've been hostage to this process.

CJ, I can't even believe I live in NY. I moved here by way of PA and the day I replaced my pretty blue PA plate (yes, just one!) with my NY plates there was a sense of loss. I actually miss living in Pennsylvania. But that's because we had 3 Wegmans there and I have exactly zero here.

That said, having my husband here very nearly makes up for the lack of Wegmans. ;-)

Mullets!! Too funny. I've only been to Ohio once -- R&R Hall of Fame. Loved the place!

I had a fine time being raised in S. Jersey. Luckily I escaped without a S. Jersey accent though I do have a tinge of Philly. (I don't say "wooter" instead of water.)

Yeah Cleveland is not too bad, they are close to NY so they are more with the times. Come a little further couth and you will see what I mean! A jack-o-lantern has more teeth than some people I know...

Well, upstate NY is pretty darn rural. I live in Orange county (couldn't afford Rockland) and I was blown away how rural it is. Go farther West or North and it is even more out in the middle of nowhere.

Everyone thinks of NY and they think NYC. The rest of NY is nothing like that.

Yup! the upstate NY is really beautiful countryside with cute little towns, but I am in love with this concrete jungle!

I was checking E-mail after 2-3 days thinking about NOA2, but didn't see any e-mail from USCIS :( . After going through several e-mails, new e-mail popped up.
