WOW...i just checked the USCIS website and it says this: "On August 15, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I am assuming this is good....wait...silly assumption...This IS good...I was expecting an RFE to be honest as all i sent beside the I-130 and G325 forms for the both of us was our certified translated marriage certificate, 2 passport pics, my original birth certificate and notorized copies of my New Jersey drivers liscense and passport i.d. page...i didnt send any other supporting evidence...everyone else's approvals are days away...good luck to you guys!!! CSC rocks!!! check your case status on the USCIS site guys...i know there are more of us who got approved...

I got approved on August 14!!

I think they will approve all the rest of the transferred cases this week!!!

Let's keep the chart going to see how the rest of the process goes.

my friends i130 application was transfered to california today as well...i think he mailed his application in nov 2007 and got his noa1 in Jan 2008. I am sorry but i don't know the dates top of my head but this is exciting time....i filed my in jan 2008 and got noa1 in feb 11th 2008...so i guess now vermont will start working on our files....i guess the goal here is to make sure both centers are working on same dates...hopfully vermont will start processing files on time.

i wish all of you a good luck and i am sure all of you will get your approval by end of this month for sure. You guys have made it

My case got transferred to DC. Checked the status today and it says I was touched again today. So many touches in the past week but nothing else. Wonder if I am gonna be stuck in DC now like I was stuck in VSC.

I submitted my I 130 in Nov. 2007, NOA1 Jan 2008, Online case status shows case is transferred but doesnt mension to which office; no hard copy of transfer notice received so far; What is "TOUCHED" means? how can i see if new USCIS(God knows which one) is working on my case?

Welcome to the forum

To see when your case has been "touched" go to www.uscis.gov click case status online in first page, then click to register. Follow the prompts and make sure you sign up for email updates. Where it says last updated, there is usually a date. The date changes when your case has undergone some kind of internal processing. It means, someone looked at it or it was moved from somewhere or something. It's usually an indicator that yoru case will be approved or you will ge RFE, if it has been touched repeatedly.
