A little shakeup in my world:

I was laid off/pushed out this week - with some paid severance. It is for the best since my new boss is a bxxxxx. I started telling people I am leaving next week - better to give my story than the one the bxxxx comes up with.

I am thinking about making a shift in the accounting world - and I'm telling people that is the plan --- even though I am keeping all my options open. I have 2 job interviews next week, but not sure I want either.

Plus job hunting for the husband.....

Count my blessings!!!!

Oh... that sucks about getting pushed out even if you're glad to not be around your boss. I just quit my old job for the same reasons but have a new, better one now! Hopefully that will happen with you!

Man...that sucks big time!

The same thing happened to me 8 years ago. I helped for over a year to set up an insurance office in the Charlotte area. I traveled back and forth from Winston-Salem for months. I set up all my contacts that I had accumulated in my time in the insurance business. I was the office manager, markerting person and chief underwriter all in one. The office had been going for 6 months strong and doing pretty well. Then the guy that hired me, came in on a Friday morning and told me that they were phasing out my job and that I had to leave right then. I was completely shell shocked! It took me over six weeks to find the job that I've been at now for 8 years and you know what...that was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm making more money now (I'm in a completely different field by the way) than I ever have before and I've never been so happy with the people that I work with and the boss that I work for.

I wish you good luck, and inshallah, this will end up being the best thing for you.

Allousa- i gotta i ve been so depressed i can barely smile these days n that video got me smiling n laughing it was like healing lol thank u so much for sharing he as big as my nephew n i know how adorable they r at that age lol i never wanna miss a minute of their cuteness lol may Allah bless him n keep him safe ameen.

I'm sorry that you have been down. I am so glad that my sunshine could give you a little brightness today. Of all the things that I've been through...it's been this little guy that has gotten me through all of it.

I'm definitely a proud mama! He IS a character. He's 2 1/2 now and he says and does the funniest stuff almost on a daily basis. He LOVES the camera and he will actually stop and pose for it most of the time. What is funny too, is that my husband is sitting there the whole time reading the paper. I had to show him the video the next day because he wasn't even paying attention.

Yayyyyyyy just got home from my last work day of this week. Next week will suck royal nuts though coz I work 8 to 6 M-F and 9-1 on Saturday....

but then...VACATIONNNNNNNNNNNNN! The vacation "events" are still up in the air for the moment...we shall see what happens...

I'm tired. I ate too many donuts again today.. *note to self, no more donuts*
