Hi,

So me and my soon-to-be ex husband would like to get a divorce. We are supposed to get an interview i dont know when...but i have a work authorization and i am still a F-1 student (undergraduate) . My F-1 visa is supposed to expire in 2010. But I am supposed to graduate in Fall 08. If I am getting a divorce (while the divorce papers are getting processed), so my AOS process will be terminated right?

Also, even though I am a F-1 student and i have an EAD through marriage, and would like to work later on, could that be referred as an OPT? But the thing is I never applied for an OPT yet...and since i can renew the EAD only 1 time, will this time be considered as an OPT?...I also plan on enrolling for a master...so I am sort of confused...

I know i want to get a divorce after what he said..that F****** B******...and now he seemed to not stand me anymore, he is really rude on aim and stuff..grrr i cant believe i got married to this guy...anyways

I was just wondering if i got divorced, will my EAD considered as an OPT?

No, your EAD through marriage is completely separate from OPT.

08/12/2011 - Biometrics appointment letter received
