Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 6, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

One question... if we want to go CR1 do we just wait and see or continue down K3 path???

Never mind.... i recieved this at 9pm in my email:

Personally, I would wait and see. If the I-130 gets approved not long after, we know that it is cheaper to get the green card with the Immigrant visa vs the K3 visa. But, if you feel anything like I do, I am just anxious to be in his arms again. Good luck!!! and... YAY!!! :dance: Congrats again! :dance:

Thank you I haven't recieved the offical notice yet but who knows you still might have been right lu lu lol.

As soon as I got JJ's numbers she got a touch than a few days later our approval so insha'allah her's is coming up....

Congratulations.

You should be getting 2 notices , one for the I130 and one for the I129f.

One poster let both petitions go through. Shortly after their K-3 interview was scheduled the CR1 was scheduled for a month later. They contacted the Consulate and switched the K-3 for the CR1 interview, so their CR1 was earlier. You can take the chance if you want, hoping that the scheduling works out this way.
