THIS BLOG SHOULD BE ABOUT SUPPORTING EACH OTHER AND INSTEAD OF BEING SAD OR UPSET I THINK THAT WE SHOULD BE HAPPY BECAUSE WE HAVE SEEN THROUGH THE MONTHS HOW THIS VJ MEMBERS HAVE SUFFERED FOR BEING APPART FROM THEIR LOVE ONES... I REMEMBER I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I GET MY NOA2 (I EVEN SAID... WOW IT HAPPENED IN ONLY 105 DAYS) AND SOMEONE TOLD ME HERE "AND YOU ARE HAPPY ABOUT THAT, THAT'S WITHIN THE RANGE THAT USCIS SAID IT WAS GONNA BE"... AND I REPLY WELL I AM SO HAPPY AND SO EXCITED BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN OTHER FILERS THAT HAVE WAITED MORE THAN WE HAVE... I HONESTLY THOUGHT THAT WE COULD BE JUST LIKE VSC FILERS... I WAS DEPRESSED, SAD, UPSET, ANGRY... THANKS GOD EVERYTHING HAS WORKED OUT JUST WELL, I UNDERSTAND ALL THOSE VSC FILERS, ALL THE ANXIETY, STRESS AND AGONY THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE BEEN FEELING THROUGH ALL THIS TIME, AT LEAST WE GET TO SEE THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL, BUT THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAD THAT... NOW THEY DO... I AM HAPPY FOR ALL OF YOU GUYS!!!

I say let them approval all of you and approve you rapidly. Best of luck!

I am sorry that you guys feel that way and i can understand your anxiety. I wouldn't want anyone to suffer the way i have, spending my first anniversary on the phone instead of seeing my husband or at least having a little hope that we may see each other soon. My daughter will celebrate yet another birthday without her father in September. Do you know how hard it has been to see people that have applied after me being approved and even getting their visa's? I didn't complain, i just congratulated them cause it was nice to see some of us getting out of this black hole. I wouldnt wish you any bad but i cannot say that i am sad, i am happy for all of us that has had no hope for so long.

I have said it a few times and I will say it again, I am happy that they are going to help out the 2007 filers, something really needed done for them, hell I say give them all approvals in one day, skip the background checks and all. I admited in my op that I am selfish and my reason for being is I want my wife to get here before our baby is born and if we were approved in a few weeks, there would be a good possibility that it could happen.

I feel for people who have been left behind at VSC. I think they should all be sent a letter from Mr. Bush expressing his deepest regretes and telling them how sorry he is that this has happened to them. I could not imangine this happening to me and if it did how I would react. Good luck to everyone and I hope youo all get put to the front of the line and get approved fast so they can stay on track for us csc filers.

Wow, this thread could be a real powder keg of emotion. Let me just say that JessyRafa is right about the constant rebalancing. A year ago at this time I and a bunch of my cohort were waiting it out at CSC, distressed that VSC was whipping out approvals in 2 months while we waited 8+. Worse yet, I was at VSC, but got transferred to CSC because before the load balancing, CSC was faster and VSC was at a standstill.

What we saw back then (after the load balancing) was that since VSC's load was so lightened by the move, it started giving out approvals in 6-8 weeks. Those transferred has to wait a few more months. Direct CSC filers waited under the new load.

After our approvals at the end of 2007, they load balanced again moving stuff to VSC because their load was so much lighter. Now VSC is too slow.... so the wheel turns.

I just would like to add that the reason VSC filers have been waiting so long is because CSC, right before I started my process almost 7 months ago, sent THEIR petitions to VSC. The point being, don't get too comfortable with the processing times of either processing center. The fact is, processing times change all the time. 7 months ago, there were people at CSC who had been waiting months and months and now it happens to be the other way around. Most likely, this will change again with the applications being sent to CSC. I think, generally, both service centers try to hover around 6 months processing and when it goes to one extreme or the other (less than 90 days at CSC and more than 200 at VSC in this case), they try to balance it out as best they can again.

I would advise to just keep 6 months as an average in your head. I see you've been waiting for 50 days and that the last time you saw your spouse was in May and I understand it's hard (My husband has been in Mexico since February) but this is what we have to go through and, ultimately, it has to be as fair a process as possible. Yes, processing times do get exaggerated from one extreme to the other, but, ultimately, it has to balance out.

I can't believe I'm saying this as I have been waiting for more than 6 months at this point and am a little disturbed at how far out of proportion the processing times have gotten...but I have to believe that everything happens for a reason and that everything, even these messed up service centers, eventually reaches an equilibrium.

Some of the content in this thread just reminded me that in the end, people only give a damn about themselves. As much as I appreciate honesty, some of the selfishness is disturbing. We all want to be approved, but I get the feeling some of us wouldn't think twice about stepping on the heads of others to get it.

Silly me for thinking that regardless of the statistics of each service centre, people who have been waiting the longest DESERVE to be approved first...

p.s. the optimism of those already approved, amuses me.

I couldnt not agree more with you on that, I will agree I am being just a little selfish, but then again most people are as we are human. BUT I would never step on anyone to get ahead for any reason, god if you guys only knew my moral values when it comes to my work ethic and my personal life. I live my every day life by the motto "do unto others as you would have done to you"

I have said it many times already, I am happy something is being done for VSC filers but I also stated my other reasons and I dont feel like repeating myself over and over. Suffice to say I am happy but also sad that it could be at the expense of the csc filers. Hate me or think less of me, I am one of them people that speak my mind and dont care if I am polictically correct or not and most people like that about me because I am a true person who tells it like it is and doesnt just say what people want to hear.

I am selfish I want to be approved, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Ilya, I know you called yesterday, but try again today and hope that you can get someone who is in touch with what's going on at the Center. I don't see how your case didn't get transferred! Either way, your approval is due soon!
