Musicals are cool.

You guys call these guilty pleasures? I have some that are so silly I don't even know if I want to write them.

Ready for some?

I have watched, and enjoyed, a lot of Disney channel shows like Hannah Montana, I think they are cute though the acting is not the best. And I don't have any little kids who even like her in the house, Kavi is way too young. :P Gotta love that Billy Ray Cyrus is on the show and makes fun of himself for the mullet days. I will definitely watch kid shows with Kavi when he's older because I am like a kid too. I have watched Drake and Josh too on Nick.

I have seen almost every episode of The Hills I believe. Repeat marathons and boring days before Kavi was born cause funny things to happen.

Rachael Ray...her personality gets on my nerves but I still watch her shows.

Oh I watch a lot of reality shows but I am not ashamed of those, haha.

Now that you have lost some respect for me, just remember I am at least brave enough to admit these things!!! So give me some of that respect back.:innocent:

Gilmore Girls

CCR

Wearing PJ's all day

Reality shows (not Survivor or big brother) but Bridezilla, Whose wedding is it anyway etc

I love Gilmore Girls and miss it a lot :crying:

I wear PJs around the house too even after showering if I am not going out anywhere

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Mel and his co workers were having lunch one day at the River Shack- the restaurant was all excited because they were waiting for Guy to show up to film a segment for Diners, Drive in's and Dives. They had to get back for work before he showed up. Mel told me I should go down there but I didn't feel like getting ready to go anywhere. I haven't seen the segment yet though- I'm not sure when and if it has aired yet.

I suspect that this subject has been covered before here in OT, but I thought I'd create a thread in which you can share your guilty pleasures with fellow members of the VJ community.

Here are some ideas:

Do you have a weakness for a terrible band? Would your homies point and laugh for all eternity if they saw your closet collection of cassettes? I am a Barry Manilow groupie. Yes, they laugh.

Do you like to lick chocolate sauce off rubber chickens? #######?????????

Guys, do you try out your old lady's makeup when she's not around?

Do you wish you had a lifted truck?

Do you like musicals? Rocky Horror, Grease, and the Sound of Music. And, I've caught hubby singing along from time to time

I drink apple pie pistachio caramel iced heavy sugared tea from Teavana like it's feeding some sort of crack addiction.

When I am needing to wake up or avoid road rage, I blast Staind. When I need to chill out, I blast Reba McIntyre. If Barry Manilow is playing really loud in my office, turn around and walk back out the door.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I absolutely love frozen taquitos, especially the ones from Delimex. I heat them up in the microwave and then dip them in sour cream. My husband thinks they're nasty but I just love them, especially late at night. Yum.

Ooh yes - The Sound of Music!

I do enjoy it, although not quite as much as my mother. She's seen the movie a dozen times at the cinema, has been to see the stage musical about 18 times, has been to the sing-a-long show, owns the movie on VHS and DVD and still watches it every time it comes on TV.

In the 90s my dad managed to acquire from a video store a life-size cardboard cut-out of Maria. That lived in my parents' living room for a good few years and never failed to startle their guests.

Sorry - went off on a tangent there. Anyway, I love musicals too but The Sound of Music is the only one I'm a little embarrassed to admit to liking.

I'm not that into musicals on TV but I love them in the theater. Les Mis, Rent and Oklahoma! are some of faves.
