From what I read, there's been no profile from the FBI that suggested it was more than one person. The timing of it though (nearly coincided with 9/11) is troubling. I remember the whole anthrax scare right after 9/11 had so many Americans about ready to jump out of their skins. You could have sold us on a pre-emptive nuclear strike on Russia at that time...not too many were thinking rationally then.

Well they were closing in on him before he committed suicide and he was the only prime suspect after years of investigation. There was nothing that would show he would have needed others help to do it and any implication that someone 'planted' the idea in this man's head is too outlandish an idea for me to even consider.
