A moderate sentence for attempted murder??

Yeah. I'm not really into killing kids as a punishment.

They weren't kids, unless we are really stretching the definition of "kids." And, fine, if you don't believe in the death penalty, how about life imprisonment?

Doubtful. Not into giving "youth" their entire life for making a mistake that didn't even kill anyone, even if it could have. Then again, I'm not exactly judge nor do I know everything here, so it's based upon what the article says.

They are legal adults. And a "mistake" would be like, they were looking in a different direction, and bumped into the lady as a result, and knocked her off the platform. This was a conscious act intending to do harm to another human being.

yeh if you could call what they deem life imprisonment now a days life? :wacko:

but you are right at worst will prob get a few short years as someones prison b#@$$, i must admit i was suprised at the amount of coverage on the news it got, not that i dont think it deserved it, but i'm sure simular things happen all the time. and we dont hear about it

There was a case not too long ago where a mental patient pushed a guy onto the Underground tracks and killed him.
