Hi

I just moved from CA to St Louis MO. Because i ll only be here for school (4 yrs), my legal state of residence will be still CA.

But I would like to apply for N400 here (NE center). I know that I need to live here for 3 month prior to applying for N400.

I already filed AR-11. What else do I need to prove that I am living in St Louis, MO?

Do I need to register my car here and get MO license?

I would like to avoid doing anything unnecessary to minimize cost. (living on a very tight budget).

Thank you.

I think you could use any of the following:

School acceptance letter

transcript/ or enrollment certification

bills in your name, that with your St. Louis address

No need to re-register your car IF you still regard yourself as a Californian and keep up your license fees, taxes, etc. in that state.

Easiest thing is to have utility bills such as gas/electricity/phone bill under your name.
