Still waiting

Almost 2 months have passed since we received AP from the Seoul Embassy. At first we were told 2-4 weeks. Then we were told October. As October approaches, I can only expect more delays. I feel lucky to be able to live with my SO here in Korea. We are ready to leave Korea but cannot. We are considering moving to Seoul just for a change. The waiting continues.... My patience is long gone.

On another note... the embassy initially kept his passport after the interview. He needed to get it back to renew his Korean visa. Do we need to resubmit the passport or just wait until they call?

I think it is a good idea to call or set an appointment to submit the passport, otherwise they won't take it or say they did not want it. That is a huge disappointment and I do not want you to go through that.

If you cannot get a hold of anyone at the embassy, then most likely they will call him to submit his passport when visa issuance time comes.

I am waiting as well and praying the will be over soon.

Just wait until they call you again before handing them the passport. It could be longer in AP. For an Iraqi I am sure they are doing triple checks.
