186... not bad... you did file very early in the month so you are pretty much at the front of the line for august filers.

I don't think that VSC is moving slower than CSC so much as it's reporting slower, but I'm not sure about that. There is an August CSC thread but it's only got a meager 17 pages (also a August VSC thread I believe too but it had even less), pretty much the whole august group is concentrated here, at least as far as activing posting. There are threads about the glitch already, I figure it'll get sorted out soon enough, it's just one more goofy thing to discuss while we wait.

I am in shock, I checked Igors list this morning and had jumped from 138 to 101 !!!! I thought that we had been taken off or moved way back!!!.......we are getting there folks!!!!

K1 Visa - 2009

March 7th - POE Newark, NY

March 30th - received SSN

April 25th - Married

April 27th - Changed name on SSN

AOS

May 12th - AOS paperwork sent

Aug 20th - Interview in Philly

Aug 21st - GC production ordered

Aug 24th - Welcome to the USA letter received

Aug 31st - Rec'd son's GC

Sept 2nd - Rec'd my GC ....all set for 2 years now

LIFTING CONDITIONS

June 20th sent I-751 to Vermont

June 25th received at Vermont.

June 27th NOA date

July 2nd Packet returned as section not filled in correctly---how stupid am I?!?!?

July 5th Packet sent back (overnight delivery) to USCIS with form filled in correctly

July 6th Packet received and signed for at Vermont

August 18th Biometrics Appointment in Philly........JULY 27TH EARLY BIOMETRICS DONE

Nearly 1 year later!!!
....received notification for my son to get biometrics done!(May 15th 2012)

May 11th 2012 Son's biometrics done early

June 2012 - Notice of lifting of conditions received

June 12th - texts- GC in production

June 13th - text- GC in post

June 15th - Received GC's!!!!!!

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

we fight cos i am the boss and he is still learning :rofl::rofl::rofl:

lol no seriously now, although we r thousands of miles we spend more time together online than we do when we r in same house lol. He runs his business from home and i only work 16 hours so the rest of the time we r together, hes just whining now that the noise of the typing is doing his head in lol

we fight cos he wants to repair windows, paint blah blah blah and i want him to make sure his accounts r up to date to get ready for court case and immigration.

We fight cos hes always takes my chips when we play online poker and i sulk lol.

We fight cos i am slightly shoe obsessed and he thinks i should b wise with money yawn.

We fight over stupid little things that dont make any sense to anyone else, we have slammed down the phone on each other several times this week. I cant stand it though and always cave in lol (i got to stop that).

We have spent so much time together we know each other inside and out and know exactly what buttons to press in an argument.

Its not all bad though lol

I love him to death but i could also clatter him sometimes and im sure the feelings mutual lol

I was looking at igor's list and getting pretty discouraged seeing as how they are still working on June filers at VSC. But then I noticed something...there were very few NOA1's issued in July. The majority of July filers have August NOA1 dates. Does that mean we are all together in the August basket? Obvisouly they do not process the application in the exact order they were recieved...

Sorry, just trying to give myself some hope here. It has been a really tough week for other reason. Hope all is going better for all of you.

I really hope Nov and Dec are our months. My fiance is spending the holidays here and he is already preparing for the papers that we're going to use for the interview here. God help us. We really need this.

It's our turn already... My heart is preparing to do backflips and cartwheels when we get approved!!! yay!!!

Me and my honey haven't had an argument in a long time and that really helps. We're all just trying our best to cheer each other up. The strings of temper are getting tried stretched sometimes but we try our best to remind each other that the distance is doing it. We have never forgotten our goals though and that's what keeps our feet on the ground and that's why we still manage to hold on without having to fuss at each other. Hang in there guys. We can all do this together. Look forward to the August Filer reunion next year!

10-12-2007 Met in US in person for the first time, love at first sight lol, 2 perfect months together.

06-21-2008 Engaged

08-16-2008 Package finally put together and posted to Vermont! Let the real games begin.

08-21-2008 Delieved, least thats what Fedex told us....

08-27-2008 Check Cashed *dances* come on NOA1!!!!!

11-10-2008 RFE returned

03-01-2009 Confirmed Case lost by USCIS

04-03-2009 Refiled K1 Visa application complete with expedite due to USCIS error.

05-14-2009 K1 package once again has vanished....

06-08-2009 Hired lawyer to proceed with Appeal process.

06-26-2009 Paperwork Fedex'ed to lawyer

07-02-2009 Lawyer submitted our suit to court

07-17-2009 Court day 2: Success, must respond by 21st August. - No result ever came from this.

10/06/2009 Withdrew K1 petition

10/10/2009 Married

10/24/2009 CR1 packet completed and posted

10/26/2009 Packet arrived at Chicago - And Submitted our Aussie application

11/04/2009 Application of CR1 returned - was rejected because of a "blurry zip code" we didn't bother to re-apply given that Chris had lost his job

04/05/2010 Australian application still pending

September 2010 - Chris arrived in Australia on Temporary Visa.

10/10/2011 - 2 year wedding anniversary - Chris to be granted Australian Permanent Residency

Summer 2012 - Planned immigration to USA.

*We have visited each other 8 times since 2007*

USBride: Interesting but don't get my hopes up... it'd be great (for us anyway) if july and august are in the same basket... but I think basically there were few noa1's because CSC and VSC were working citizenship due to the elections... but I think (at least based on the CSC dates) that they are still basically working in about date order, while july pretty much started off with NOA1's on the 22nd I think that the stacks of petitions still pretty much get put in seperate boxes in order they are received, I think it's unlikely they'd get that far out of order even if they stopped processing k-1's for a month. Of course, you are with VSC and they've proven they can and will approve wildly out of order petitions with or without an expedite just because they can (well, there is probably a reason but I'm sticking with for the entertainment of watching us scratch our heads when it happens).
