Last weeks igor's list is making a lot of progress this week... it's turned out to be a decent week for CSC and a miserable one for VSC, at least so far, and it seems every time I look there is another approval which is always good for my mood, I don't know what the heck I'll do with all my spare time when I no longer have a reason to look at igor's list haha.

here all banks and government offices are closed including state and federal so im assuming that csc is closed too

I'm surprised at some of the holiday's federal employees get, they don't get two days off for thanksgiving like my office gets (and I assume several others, our days off are setup to match the days off for the local court houses since we are a law firm... I kind of figure if courts two off for thanksgiving then probably several other places do as well).

It's still a little too early to expect much in the way of touches HD, those NOA2's can't get her soon enough as far as I'm concerned but I'm not too hopefully of any of us seeing one for another month. I think the cold wet miserable weather we're having here lately is affecting my mood, or I'm just getting tired of waiting on this process, I'm ready to start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am a government employee, I work for the FAA, I had to work today (Veteran's day) and just got paid holiday pay... I am not sure about them.

I don't know if USCIS is working, but what's crazier is the embassy workers... they get both american and filipino holidays off! I'm guessing the consular officers and management positions in the office are probably all american only positions, as they are 'sensitive' positions... but probably the bulk of the lower level employees/support staff, pre-screeners, etc are filipino's because it's cheaper to hire local workers... either way, it's a lot more holidays (I wonder if the filipino workers get paid holiday pay there or not though... I'm sure the american's do).
