NOA2 16th DECEMBER!!!!!!!

Hey guys

wondering if i can get some help, thought i might start getting things ready for "that" interview.

i've been reading the guides but i'm still a bit confused (easily done heh)

i've copied the following from the guides

What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

why do we need the entire package? do we actually need it for the interview, i was the one who prepared all the forms and sent them to my fiance (he's the usc) i didn't take copies of the package as there were things that my fiance had that needed to be added.

2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

do they want him to send me his birth certificate? not a copy but the original?

any help would be greatly appreciated :)

unfortunately i'm sure there will be more questions but this is it for now.

The idea is that if you have the entire packet you can see what was sent, and any *missing* forms can be handed in at the interview, but I think mostly so you know exactly what was submitted in case they question you on any of it.

I'd only be willing to donate a few days towards estadia's NOA2... I'm not as generous as Gemmie (and well, she's expect to have to delay her interview and other things for her school schedule).

You should be posting this here

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=80

We are not experts in here, there are far more exposure if you post that in the main forum per the link above. I have a lawyer so he is putting and preparing everything for me.

Goodluck!

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

I'm not going to delay my interview, I'll have it whenever they give me one upon sending Packet 3.. I'll be within the 6 months and definitely be out of here in July, so want to get the visa ready as soon as possible. I just know that I have a little more time to be flexible if something went wrong such as a long NOA2 wait, or at the NVC, or AP. I know that none of us can tell if something will go wrong, but I actually won't have anywhere to live after July, and 100% need it by then. We wanted to be smart and plan. We don't want to be one of those couples that expect it to be done by a certain date and then have to cancel wedding dates and get stressed out because it's longer than they thought.

:)

Congratulations on your NOA2 StinkyMonkey, you deserve that one after the 5 month wait!

Michelle, please look at the guides and if you have any concerns, ask people in the Regional forums as it's more specific to your consulate/country after this petition stage. Good luck!

So what is everyone doing today? I was going to be going to a Firework and Bonfire event tonight (it's an annual holiday in the UK) but I think it's been cancelled because of the rain storm expected in Ireland / South West. Booo!!

Oh well, I'll be staying in with a DVD and some food, and of course the phone. :)

Thanks honey

I still cant beleive it, it is a weird feeling you are approved but still have a way to go, let's be honest here we all have years of paperwork ahead of us, , getting NOA2 is just the first step, now I am getting everything ready for packet 3, and once in the States there is AOS does it never end haha

I am just counting the days till Christmas Eve till I fly out to Texas for the holiday's with my boy, and then submit packet 3 as soon as I get back home.

I think I will go for a nap soon as I hardly slept last night to excited

Have a great weekend

Yeah, but the NOA2 and steps to the interview are the last pieces of paperwork that you will have filed while living seperately, other than the ability to work/travel (with travel unlikely to be a huge issue right off) the other paperwork can take it's time and not have too drastic of an effect on your life so long as you file it when you are supposed to.

http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/stats.aspx is the 'overview' page and shows how many approvals for the week (based on timelines on this site), follow the link to VSC or CSC to see the lists of people waiting/just approved.
