NOA2: January 26, 2009,

NVC RECIEVED: January 28, 2009

NVC SENT: February 3, 2009

INDIAN EMBASSY RECIEVED: February 7, 2009

EMBASSY SENT PACKET 3: February 9, 2009

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

N400:
4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

And some poor guy has been waiting 3 years and only just recently got an RFE for the IMBRA questions (criminal record/abuse stuff) because his petition is so old it didn't have the IMBRA questions on it... but you can't plan for that kind of problem.

i know i read that and ended up crying a lot cuz its been over a year for us so im wondering that kind of RFE they will send us just to make our life more stressful

Hang in there Estadia. There should still be hope. Just keep going. Or better yet, withdraw the K1 and go the K3 route. *wink*

Your RFE... "Are you still alive?" End of RFE... yeah, USCIS are a bunch of pranksters like that... but at least you don't have a gaurenteed IMBRA RFE, those happened in 2005 some time and your petition is new enough that it won't be a problem... so yeah, you'll probably get something like this RFE... "Requesting Further Evidence you are still waiting for us to send you a NOA2." Then rimshot plays and they do a quick dance, yes folks, USCIS has a million of them! (Or perhaps they would if I was working there and in charge... every NOA2 comes with a whoopy cushion!).

HD: I finally gave my fiancee your information so if you had any weird yahoo adds this morning one of them was her.

Number 246 this morning yay :D and tomorrow is D-Day for USCIS results! Looks like this week might just be a good week.

Good to see everyone is doing great this morning

Estadia, hang in there we are all praying for you and none of us think what USCIS does to some cases is right.

Its Tuesday here for me and I have a long day ahead, got up at 5am for a run, teaching 8-3 and then working 4.30-9, perhaps this getting a second job thing wasnt a great plan going to be really tired tomorrow lol.

Has anyone else noticed that most of the August filers are senior members now.... I think there are some serious forum lurkers in this thread.... lol

04-25-2007 Admitted that we had feelings for each other started talking on skype everyday!

10-12-2007 Met in US in person for the first time, love at first sight lol, 2 perfect months together.

11/04/2009 Application of CR1 returned - was rejected because of a "blurry zip code" we didn't bother to re-apply given that Chris had lost his job

04/05/2010 Australian application still pending

September 2010 - Chris arrived in Australia on Temporary Visa.

10/10/2011 - 2 year wedding anniversary - Chris to be granted Australian Permanent Residency

Summer 2012 - Planned immigration to USA.
