Good Morning Afs

ive had a few bad days lately when i dont feel like posting cos i just want to yell kick and scream throw my teddys out of cot and have a full blown tantrum.

Think its a seasonal thing, its freezing, we just had halloween yesterday (which is way better in the US) Thanksgiving is coming up and then Christmas all of these i would love to be able to spend with my fiance, but.... i just cant do it this year.

I am starting to get over myself being apart for these events this year is just a small sacrifice so we can be together forever.

Maliciant what a sweet surprise im glad she loved her gifts.

We are nearly there a few more weeks now and we should start to see some August approvals wooohooooooo.

Have a great weekend.

Yay for november, my favorite month for a variety of reasons... and potentially the month of my NOA2, it's pretty unlikely but I like to pretend I'm a positive thinker... Also, I just saw a late july approval (july 25th for their noa1) and the real shocker, it was at CSC... that's a pretty out of order approval though and CSC seems to be fairly consistant (compared to VSC which has all kinds of really fast oddball non-expedited approvals lately).... there is a good chance this one was expedited or something, either way, it's good to see a july aproval up there. The anticipation is going to be brutal when we start seeing regular 7-20 to -7-30 approvals on igor's, I'm looking forward to it.... anticipation torture sounds almost like it will be fun...

I think that was a typo, he says in the June thread it was accepted june 25. Were still getting closer to july though!

Ah.... a typo... I had considered that too when I saw it, but for some reason I just considered that unlikely... not sure why since it's really the most likely explaination for an odd date like that, oh well, end of june is still good, even if it had been july it was clearly an odd ball so it wouldn't have been that significant to the rest of us waiting.

Hello Everyone,

Another aug filer and new to VJC joining the party. Does anyone have any news on how the snails are moving in vermont ?.

This process is killing me. When i was first informed about the k1 peition. I was told it would take a total of 6 months from start to finish (HA). From the information i have gathered in vjc, i guess i was miss informed.

But i do feel very lucky to have stumpled upon this site. Seems to have a lot of wonderful people who are also going thru the very same experience that i am.

I'd recommend going here http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/stats.aspx

You can see the dates of people recently approved, based on the timeline data of this site. The snails in vermont are just now starting on july filers it seems, but probably will have as many or more june approvals in the next week and even some may filers, especially those with RFE's...

I don't know the specifics of the dominican republic, but *MOST* countries 6 months - 9 months is fairly typical, with of course the 4-5 month wait for that NOA2 step which kicks off all the fun, that said I also know that some places like china have extremely long waits at the embassy there, an extra 3 months apparently, you'll have to look in the regional forums and embassy reviews on this site for more specific information once your application reaches NOA2 and NVC which is likely to happen in about 2 months.

Welcome to VJ, it's definitely a valuable resource, especially if you find it before actually filing your petition.

Awww... just noticed our expected noa2 dates jumped back about a week, I'm not surprised, especially for CSC with how few NOA2's have shown up lately... I'm off to go pillage some nieces and nephews halloween stashes so I'll probably be gone all day, not lurking VJ or igor's haha
