Gemmie, never seen anyone get an RFE for that sweetheart. ;)

Now here's the real question... did you answer Part C, Q2 on the I-129f???? Lots of people miss that because it's preceeded by a military question and many are RFE'd for it.. most common one i've seen. ;) You would think they'd fix that but I guess that would make too much sense.

Even if you get an RFE it doesn't seem to take too long to resolve normally. It's the security checks that can hold people up now. :(

I'm going to make a wild assumption that both centers will soon speed up processing times. ;) Stay strong people, it's coming and when it does all you're feeling now will dissipate! :) :) :)

Thank you so much... I was waiting all day to get home and hopefully have an inspiring post from you! It's such a relief to know that nobody (yet) has had a RFE for this. Sorry, I panicked!

You know how it goes when you're waiting for your chance to file.. you have nothing else to do except check your packet. The forms, the evidence, the letters... it would just suck so much to know we made a simple mistake. But I feel relieved now, and ready to wait for our NOA1 again. :)

Part C... We answered "not in miltary", followed by "no" for have you ever been convicted of.. and left the next one blank as they didn't relate to us (reasons for convictions)... I do remember seeing people get confused about this, so we double-checked that it made sense. I assume we're supposed to leave that blank anyways.

Yay! My check finally got cashed! Trying to read the numbers on the back right now...

The number your looking for is the one below the - - - - - - - - - - - line. I had to call my bank's customer support to read it to me as it wasn't easy to see online.

Good luck. Your NOA1 should be arriving in the mail in next couple of days.

Kim I praise you for your motivating words. Everytime you post you always have somethig nice and boosting to say for people here! PROPS to you my friend!

Thank you hon, I appreciate the kind words. Just paying it back is all. ;)

I do remember seeing people get confused about this, so we double-checked that it made sense. I assume we're supposed to leave that blank anyways.

You're welcome. :) You did good. I do know just how it is! I had everything ready for months before we were even able to file... forms, scans of everything we needed...etc.. all just sitting on my hard drive in a "K1" folder on my desktop just waiting to be printed out. We're talking 10 years of 'proof' here. Well the day I was to print it all out and put it together my hard drive crashed! Fixing computers is a part of my job but I just didnt have the time so I had to redo everything which, of course, sent me into a panic about having done it right. Of course I used the example forms for reference but I still worried. I must have checked my copy of the forms for that Part C, Q2 about 6 times in the 4 months we waited.

In typing up my updated letter of intent the other day to send to my love and I realized that the example form says "I will marry blah blah blah..as soon as I enter the US"... and I left it as such on my first letter of intent. One problem... i'm already in the US! DOH! Oh I would not have been a happy camper if we had been RFE'd for that. We can all make silly mistakes... we're only human. :)

Now here's the real question... did you answer Part C, Q2 on the I-129f???? Lots of people miss that because it's preceeded by a military question and many are RFE'd for it.. most common one i've seen. ;) You would think they'd fix that but I guess that would make too much sense.

still waiting on NOA1

 It probably wont be the last time you do either!!!

Good to see you folks moving along! :)
