oh really? they're lovely! I love the styles... not very common too, which is very good. I checked out the veils - I especially liked the one with the embroidery or maybe that was lace stitches or something. I actually have my wedding gown design made now and I am lookling at December to have them start off with it. I am lookling at about $600-700 all in - veil, tiara, underwear, wrap/jacket, a handbag, along with bridal cords, pillows. The cords are because I am looking at having a traditional Filipino wedding ceremony. How about you guys?

Fred, I'm glad you got to speak with Emilia. It must be hard only getting to speak once a week but the journey will soon be over for you.

This weekend? Last night my friends and I went to a school-themed disco! We all dressed up and a few of the girls got pretty drunk, it was nice to get out a bit as I haven't been out since June due to my time in the US. As I said earlier though, made me miss Bill a lot. Today my housemate cooked Chicken Korma for us (I live with 2 girls) and we watched The Corpse Bride. What about everyone else?

Oh yes Gimmie it's extremely hard to only have to chat and see your fiancee once a week! ughhhhh, but I have to be strong always, for me and her.

This weekend I went to a fellow DJ's birthday party and goodbye party, I battled other DJ's in the lineup, that was fun, nice being in the spotlight, hahahaha, but no drinking for me, I made a promise no drinking until Emilia and myself are together.

Awww that's sweet of you, I myself don't usually drink that often anyway as I don't like the taste as much as regular drinks. Plus I don't like the effects. I'm not a big drinker of alcohol, more tea and coffee!

Good morning friends!

Heh thanks for the reminder Gemmie, offically 12 months....and neither of us remembered ROFL oh we are just too good lol! I hate those snuggly couples on planes too, mainly because i normally get sandwiched between them and the window, half the time i just stare out the window with the tears rolling to avoid looking at them and try to stop balling. Yes I know its pathictic and I can convince myself of this both before and after (a day or so) the goodbye, but at that point i just break .

Colin, just give them the place you will be staying on the first night (thats what they ask on the form) sometimes they will ask you how long and where else you are staying at the boarder, but rarely. Out of my 4 visits they have only asked me once.

HD, you'ra back!!!! I missed you! It is very lonely at night when you go into hibernation! Sounds like you are planning quite the wedding there girl! I want lots of pictures, dress fittings the whole lot! And as Dani said, us girls are strong, don't forget it, we will be here for you when you need us.

Harsh, I haven't checked Igor's list, I will do so at the end of the month, but at moment I don't want to see that I (more then likely) moved backwards lol!

Fred, like you I spent most the weekend chained to my PC talking to Chris, can't say it was hugely exciting but I must admit I enjoyed every minute. Other then that I chated to some other friends and went grocery shopping with my mum lol.

I was talking to Chris on the weekend and he had spoken to his dad about our wedding plans. As i meantioned before we planned to get married in a courthouse when I get there and then have a ceremony and reception for us and family and friends in August. Anyhow, his dad said too him that he knew a "cute" little court house somewhere in virgina and he was going to take us then and then out to dinner to celebrate, I thought that was just the sweetest thing.

Mara, I think it's so funny that neither of you remembered! Bill and I met in person in 2005 (December 15th) after nearly 3 years of online communication, and have been lucky enough to be together on that day every year since. Let's hope we can do it one last time!

We're still planning on doing a legal thing next September... so long away, almost another year. The cute courthouse idea sounds really special, how sweet that his dad thought of that! I take it you get on really well with the family then?

Really random story, but I just remembered being at Bill's uncle's house this year for July 4th, his uncle spoke to me for a while about random things... and while we were eating dinner, I spoke and he looked up and said "I forgot you had an accent..." After a conversation!!

LOL that priceless! Chris' sister in law always reminds me that I have an accent because (and I quote) "I wish I had an accent like you do".

Yes his family loves me, I went through a whole heap of tough stuff in the first month that I was over there the first time, his brother's wedding, his mum's birthday and then sad stuff, his mum passing away and helping to plan the funeral service. Then his family spread her ashes at easter, and I made sure I made it over to be with him. I think his dad is just grateful for supporting him and making him happy in general.

Sadly because I want to be able to get over there asap and go through AOS so i can get a job we will have 2 weddings lol, suppose i can pick which date we celebrate each year though lol!

Gemmie just say visiting boyfriend and family for Christmas i always took my ring off, most important is itinery with return flight (just got in from work tired and cant spell) that was the only reason i was sent for further questioning this time, i travelled backwards and forwards all this time it was my 14th visit and i always had it with me, this time i got sidetracked forgot it and they asked for it, they were pretty mean when they realised i didnt have it, said it werent there responsibility to look on computers for my return flight i should have it with me. i have visited too often i guess on the vwp and was going back within weeks, seeing as though it will b a couple of months before u attempt re-entry u should be ok,

The other time i was sent for questioning i told them i was staying for the 90 days and they asked why and that was that they let me in. Just be honest have a great Christmas together.

do you think if i get questioned it would be good ideo to say i am staying for 60 days, this i so we can get a chance at living together before our k1 visa comes through! also to meet some of her family i have yet to meet!

i so hope i can spend christmas in the states!

my fiance an i are going to have a courthouse wedding then once i have AP we are going to have a ceremony in mexico so i can invmy friends and family and they can have a summer holiday and a wedding to look forward too!

when i am around my GF family they always ask me questions about the queen and london lol i have never seen the queen or been to london!! they are always bemussed at why i would visit my capital, they think UK is so so smal its funny
