Damn them!!! Damn them all!!! But then I know a Aussie who filed in July who is awaiting a interview date.....

HelloWorld08: I'm still here and will be for a while to come, USCIS lost our Visa case so at the end of this week Chris and I are re-filing (already sent my stuff to him) with an expedite attached to our case. Hopefully it means that we will be approved quickly (a month or 2 for our NOA2) so we can get things organized. I am heading back to the states at the end of the month for a holiday to stay with Chris for the better part of 3 months, hopefully when I come back to Aus it will be fingerprints, medical and interview and then I can go back. I plan that as soon as I get our NOA2 to organize the medical literally days after i get back and the fingerprints with the hope that ill get an early July interview and be back in the states by August.

Needless to say we have had to move our wedding date, tis now the 14th of August.....2010 lol. Oh well it will still be beautiful, maybe we can have it on our 12 month anniversary that would be cool.

I forgot to mention... this weather is brutal for people who get dry skin, one of the first days back I realized skin lotion was a must...

funny story. since yader's face was so chapped I gave him my clinique face lotion to use. you know, the really luxurious stuff that you use over the course of a year...I picked it up yesterday and it is almost empty. I was like, yader! #######! (but in a nice loving way of course), and of course, he's been using it everywhere... grr.... I quickly introduced him to a economic sized bottle of Vaseline intesive care.

I have to apologize for not helping bump august off of page 2 more often! I swore to myself i would not be one of those selfish people that got their NOA2/interview/POE/whatever and just dropped off the face of the earth!

Oh Mara you poor thing!, well at least they admitt they lost your case!, still sucks big time. Out of millions of applications they had to lose yours!. I wonder who eles here in VJ has been thru the same situation?.

Freddy:So how was Emilia's B-day?, did you do something special for her from miles away?.

Has anybody sent an e-mail to the guy who started this thread? MarkGa?.

My wife and I are getting documents together to file the AOS, it's the last major step for some time in this whole process, the forms aren't too bad but there are a few confusing parts, it's the result of very poor document layouts (there is one question that appears standalone, but the document is just setup with a split column and part of the question is at the bottom left part of the page, and the rest is on the top right... so it makes for a confusing form). There is more than one problem like that in the AOS forms.

HW: This thread isn't dead... but it is dying... that's kind of to be expected though. I think it has a few more months of life left. I think we'll hit page 400...

Ill be honest it really sucks, though I was talking to an Aussie who just got her NOA2 recently and this is the second time she had filed so apparently its not as rare as one would think.

Yes they did, infact the USCIS officer Chris saw recommended that we re-file and expedite. When Chris gets my papers he is going to take all of our stuff down to an interview with the same officer and fill in the expedite stuff to make sure its done the right way.
