I live near Maliciant and I agree, the weather hasn't helped. I have high hopes for march. My love's face is bright red and chapped.

I forgot to mention... this weather is brutal for people who get dry skin, one of the first days back I realized skin lotion was a must... I checked the philippines forums to see what they liked and aveena came up a LOT... some tips for those of us who are used to this weather and don't have dry skin issues... Skin lotion is sold in the cosmetics section of the store, be wary of those bottles that look like lotion but actaully say body wash (I hunted through the body wash section for lotion... then found out the lotion is in cosmetics... and hunted through there and grabbed... body wash... and then saw another aveena bottle on another shelf that turned out to be what I was looking for). It's dangerous to have me getting anything from cosmetics...

Food wise it's a bit of a mix, we probably eat more filipino food at this point, but that's fine with me, so long as the food doesn't have a face or feet I'm pretty much good with it (I recommend http://www.pinoyrecipe.net/tilapia-with-ga...nd-bell-pepper/ ... find an asian store for the coconut milk... it's an easy recipe and TASTY... ).

We've had a few nice days, which I think gives my wife hope for some tolerable weather in the future (actually I think that we'll get too hot for her too since we don't have an ocean keeping things cool but humid), next wednesday shows a lot of promise, weather.com thinks thursday will be another nice 70f day...

Today is attempt #2 at getting an SSN, I'm sure that'll be fine now, and in 3 days we'll get our AOS ready to ship off.

I can't help keep us off page 2 as much as before... I only get on VJ now at work, my yahoo IM is generally logged into as my wife, she hasn't totally taken over my computer, just about 80% taken over...

Chris & Mara: That sucks, I hope you are using rigorous cursing/swearing therapy to relieve a little stress... I know I would... I wouldn't file again... personally considering your options you could come to the US on the VWP for a visit only... and then if you don't get some good news by the time your trip is ending... you could spur of the moment marry and adjust... or heck, I'd even say go ahead and marry, and go the CR-1 route if needed... also, cuss a lot, just you know, for fun.

What happened to fred was what I was worried about happening to me, get there, get approved, but the visa would be delayed (since I bought tickets already it would have sucked slightly more). But approved pending review of a few documents... far from the worst result out there that's for sure.

CandyLovesAhmed: I don't think there are august filers who have any serious grudge against you... but I'm sure if you spent much time in the regional forums or off topic, that's where a lot of the bitter crazies post...

CR1 would mean he would have to give up his job and move to Aus, which really isnt worth it in the long run for us, especially considering the current situation with the economy... and the fact that I dont really have anything over here.

Im not sure that your spur of the minute marriage and adjustment is all that legal :P though ill be honest I the though has crossed my mind many many times.....

but there has been lots of cussing and temper tantumns from both parties involved.

We're doing fine too, still waiting for my NOA2 and its getting harder

HW, how was your holiday? you'll need some time to adjust now, take care

Fredy, what did you do to upset Emilia? or maybe you're both tensioned and nervous for how things are going?

Ugh I just get a chance to stop by, I've been going crazy with personal problems, no big deal though I resolved one at least!.

WELCOME back my dear HW! . I know you must feel renewed with that visit!.

Freddy: Fights are common especially when there is tension around, just give her a call, you know how girls (even if its our fault) like to be chased by our men LOL :innocent:

And to releive som strees here it goes.

JOKE OF THE DAY:

Subject: The Black Bra

I had lunch with 2 of my unmarried friends.

One is engaged, one is a mistress, and of course I have been married for

20+ years.

We were chatting about our relationships and decided to amaze our

Men by wearing a black leather bra, stiletto heels and a mask over our

eyes.

We agreed to meet in a few days to exchange notes.

Here's how it all went.

My engaged friend:

The other night my boyfriend came over and found me with a black leather

bodice, tall stilettos and a mask.

He saw me and said, 'You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.'

Then we made love all night long.

The mistress:

Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing

the leather bodice,Heels and mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I

opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but we had wild sex

all night.

Then I had to share my story:

When my husband came home I was wearing the leather bodice, Black

stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes.

As soon as he came in the door and saw me he said,

"What's for dinner, Batman?"

Oh we are ok now, lovers quarell, hehehehe. Normal.........Not fun having fights when you are 7500 miles away.

Also its my SO's birthday tomorrow, I praying for some good news in the VISA department, maybe passports with visas on them? that would be a nice present. For my birthday we got the pass on the interview but had a snag, now we are hoping and praying to go all the way.
