NBI??? What is this? How many damn BI's do we need? Crazy!

For the record... NBI is the philippines version of the FBI, so it's not really ours in that regard...

Everyone stay positive, it's hard, this whole process is extremely depressing, but the nice thing about the k-1 process is it's honestly all but gauranteed to be approved in the end, with the exception of people with criminal histories/admitted drug use or one of the more serious communicable diseases that can't be cured... with a k-1 it's a matter of time, do your best to stay happy and take care of yourself, exercise, it'll help your mood, whatever you can do. I hope everyone can get caught up.

My wife has been in the country for 9 days now (well, working on #9 right now) and yesterday was the first day where the weather was tolerable finally... we hit 71F! We also managed to ride one of those pesky buses, and even know where most of the bus stops are supposed to be now (handy considering they are definitely not marked yet, apparently they changed this route 2 times in the last 3 months). We ended up walking home since the bus schedules stop pretty much at 6pm... also found a nice little vietnamese place (she claimed not to be hungry but I wanted to go in and smell the restaurant and look at a menu... we started looking through the menu and she changed her mind pretty quick... I think we found a new favorite place to eat...). All I know is right now I'm wishing it was a weekend... yeah... I'm backing to loving the weekends again, how great is that!

ETA: Definitely anyone who is waiting at USCIS (and therefore hating weekends when they aren't working) should be trying to contact them as much as possible, getting ahold of senators/congress people to check on the status of your case etc... it seemed to help several people even before the 6 month period was up (suddenly NOA2's right after) so no doubt it'll help many now too when it's officially OK (not sure if VSC is out of processing dates yet, hopefully it's not still pointing at march).

Hello to everyone...wishing all well.

HD 36 refers to prior to this application has anyone applied for visa on your behalf. So if prior to the K1 Application ( which is being applied for she's a K2 derivative to K1) no one has ever filed for a USA visa on her behalf then the answer would be no. .. ...take care....and God Bless.

Before I forget here it is:

Joke of the day:

CATHOLIC SHAMPOO

While shopping in a food store, two nuns happened to pass by the beer, wine, and liquor section. One asked the other if she would like a beer.

The second nun answered that, indeed, it would be very nice to have one, but that she would feel uncomfortable about purchasing it.

The first nun replied that she would handle that without a problem.

She picked up a six-pack and took it to the cashier. The cashier had a surprised look, so the nun said,

'This is for washing our hair.'

Without blinking an eye, the cashier reached under the counter and put a package of pretzel sticks in the bag with the beer. 'The curlers are on me.'

TEEKOL - NBI said the red flag onmy SO's record is from a late credit card bill, my SO lost her job in 2006 so she had some Credit Cards that went 60 days. Didnt know that can go on an NBI! hahahaha! they were all dismissed after payments were received.

You are joking!!!!! You have gone through all of this because of an overdue payment?!??!?!?!? I am lost for words (and that doesnt happen often). So does that mean its all sorted and she can fly?

I AM NOT JOKING! There was another person who'm I talked to in this forum that went through the samething, his VISA was delayed 3 weeks because of a dismissed credit card report.

ANNOYING HUH!

What's Next? USEM already requested the letter of explanation last week the 20th. We wait for NBI to send the USEM that letter. My SO cannot get that letter in person because of fraud and bribes, corruption within the NBI so the USEM will be retrieving this themselves.

So now we wait.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI
