Mia I think just the divorice certificate is all they will want, but if you can take both I would just in case, however hold the marriage certificate in reserve unless they ask for it.

90days that is correct, you enter on a K1 - you have 90 days to get married. No exceptions. :)

is it just to be married in 90 days or get married and have everything filed in 90 days?

We got to keep ours. Still have them more than 2 years later, actually! I doubt they would really want any of that stuff. Still, we had mainly copies of things.

The CO's have a right to ask to keep any documents of evidence if they see it necessary. But as I see you are interviewing in London, don't worry, they don't keep anything, it is also unheard of that they even look at that stuff, so don't go overboard with tons of documents of evidence. I don't know anyone here on VJ that interviewed through London that showed documents of evidence or that the CO asked for any of it. Just take notarized letters of intent from each of you to marry each other...even this I doubt they will look at.

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

I've seen a few comments on the site regarding the RFE before. Specifically, does anyone have some recent info on receiving an IMBRA RFE for sending in a request for waiver and when the approval was received from VSC? In my example, they received my material in Vermont and sent me the notification of receival on 2/2/09. I know the rhetoric of it can take up to 60 days, blah blah, I was wanting real world average timing. My fiance' is a little frustrated saying we've waited long enough, but in this case I thought the average time is maybe 4 wks for a reply. She implied I should call them and maybe call Congressman/Senator, but I think the USCIS person that answers will give some standard line, and I think the politician will give some empty promises, at the end, no change in when it will be approved. Any thoughts?

There is a forum section just for RFEs. I bet the unfortunate people posting there would have tons of good info to offer.

Yea, it is bullcrap haha. The lady at my infopass appointment basically gave me the same song and dance that the people on the phone do when I asked her how come people in november and late october are getting approvals. She said that the USCIS has sooooo many files to review, sooooo many cases... ect ect.

The only good thing that came out of my infopass appointment, was her sending an e-mail to the VSC inquiring about my case.

I-129F mailed to VSC - 08/27/08

I-129F recieved at VSC - 08/28/08

Check Cleared - 09/02/08 (Case number on back of check, never mailed me NOA1)

Touched - 09/03/08

Touched - 09/23/08

Touched - 09/24/08 (I think it relates to my change of address request)

Approval notice - 02/26/09 (updated timeline)

Approval Hardcopy - 03/05/09

Left NVC - 03/05/2009

Interview - 05/19/2009

Entered USA- 08/03/2009
