Congrats Terri&Seb on getting your visa!

Hyena, don't despair, I know its hard, but everyday is one step closer...

Mara and Dani, you are in my prayers!

NVC received our case today, we got our LND#!

It is SUCH A RELIEF to know that our case is being sent to London, because as most of you know in here, I had to turn the earth upside down in order to get the embassy location corrected on our I-129F, thanks to the errors of my lawyer. And CSC actually processed the correction to our relief!

Praise be to the Almighty Lord!

Call them tomorrow becuase i think they send the cases to the embassy right away. The NVC received our case yesterday and when i called today for the fun of it she told me that they already sent it to the embassy.

Thanks Seb for being informative. I'm glad it went easy for you..hope the same for everyone else.

So I have another question for anyone who knows. I am doing my packet 3..well my fiance is...i'm thinking i will send the packet next week. Anyway, i am thinking that my fiance will get his interview in late march...if he gets here in april..how long is it before he can leave the states?? Reason i am asking is..he has his graduation in July and he wants to attend it  Which means if he can't go back in July..even if he is approve he wont be here till July. grrrrrrrrrr....it sucks waiting and when all that is done..I have to wait more...sometimes life just sucks more and more...I was happy..now i don't know how i feel anymore...

NE way...no approvals today?????? whats going on....they need stop their coffee breaks and chit chat..

Sorry that you are feeling that you have to wait yet longer, but it is best for him to enter the USA AFTER he graduates in July because if he comes to the USA in April, then he would have to apply for AP (Advanced Parole) so that he can leave the USA for short time period before he gets his actual green card. And Advanced Parole processing itself takes 2-3 months, so by the time he is successfully granted Advanced Parole, his graduation would be missed by him. Best idea would be to enter the USA after he graduates. You cannot go there to be with him for his graduation?

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

:crying: that is not what i wanted to hear :crying: well my life has been staggering on and on..i just want to settle and not have to live separately. And to answer your question no I cannot go see him because I am not married to him. My parents are still traditional and they will not let me go alone unless I'm legally married. Mind you I have not seen the guy for 2.5 years and when I did see him for 2 weeks they were persistent on chaperoning us (not literally following us) but dropping us at the mall as if we were teenagers. grrrrrrrrrrr. It took me 3 days of crying and crying tohave them let me go alone!!!! I guess I will call my lawyer today and ask :crying: I am not too happy at all. Actually I am getting angry at my fiance. I know I shouldn't be...but it really hurts waiting and waiting...ahhhhhhhhhhh...i'm so depressed...

Well thankyou for ur reply...I didn't even know there was such advanced parole...sounds like some criminal act...

Yeah some Vermont filers are getting approved already. According to your timeline you received an RFE, did you return and responded to your RFE?

Yes we did, they were missing passport photos.

This is getting really depressing.

Yeah, I'll be calling them tomorrow to ask about that, as well as some other things that came in the mail today and make no sense at all.

I finally received Packet3&4 today, and they're full of outdated forms, most of which are in Croatian, instead of English, which is just beyond weird. I also have no idea who I am supposed to send my photos to, and why I need to do that, and just that - immediately. The addresses of the Croatian governmental facilities I need to visit in order to collect the documents are - incorrect, too.

I have no idea if anyone's ever felt degraded once they've read the contents of these packets, actually its medical part, but - that's exactly how I feel. I mean, hello people, yeah, sure, I'm a pretty healthy piece of cattle. Just feel free to import me, ladies and gentlemen.

I've known all along that a positive HIV result means no visa, but once you actually read it, black on white, it really makes one feel like sh*t. And that's when you actually don't have disease.

Long live discrimination?
