hello all together!

I´m new here and I hope I´m not to late to join the family of august filers.

I´m from germany and my fiancé is from Houston. we met in my hometown, where he was stationed as a soldier. happy us he got out of the army in aug 08. so now I don´t have to share him anymore

we sent our file at the 25th of july (from germany) and we got our NOA1 at the 13th of aug and got touched at the 18th of aug.

it´s so nice to know that here are so many nice people going through the same and share all the feelings and be there for each other!

I wish they updated the darn website more often, its rediculous how they update it once a freakin' month, and don't really give any kind of insight or detail as to if things are moving along or there are holdups. How difficult is it to look at a file and mark APPROVE or DISAPPROVE, they all have criteria that have to be met, and its so stupid that our files and applications are LITERALLY sitting on someone's table or in someone's file drawer, just WAITING to be looked at!!! ughhh!! ...................... sorry guys, just venting.......

Good old wow... I played a while... but when my subscription ended I let it go... WotLK looks very tempting, and I'd be getting in on th ground floor so seeing the higher end content would be easier (vs waiting at the back of the line in some guild that has it's regulars for all the big raiding jive) but on the other hand... I could do something productive with all that time I'd spend in WoW... it's a great value in terms of entertainment for the money if you get into it (and after a few weeks I wasn't sure it was for me... but it got pretty addictive later on). The cost of course is time doing normal things... a friend coined the phrase World of Weightgain...

Ironically, I play a human mage and he plays an Nelf hunter..... however neither are our mains. Mine is a Dwarf Shadow priest, his is a human shadow priest.... sad on the level of things we have in common (and no we didnt level them together, we had them both before we met).

I haven't ordered my WotLK I'm still tossing up where to get it from, but I will definately be playing.

Funny thing is Maliciant, WoW is the point in my life where I havent gained weight, University was my issue all those hours of study are always helped by a bag of crisps or lollies...

However I can guareentee you I will be playing it a whole lot less when I get through to the US, however atm it serves as something entertaining to do whilst talking to chris, and because we can do it together from half way aoround the world its that feeling of "being together" that is nice.

Awe *blush* thanks HD. Funny thing is I looked at that pic when I posted it and remembered the night it was taken and my heart did a backflip.. Can't wait till I see Chris at Christmas only 75 days to go...not that I'm counting.... lol

HD I know the Timezone issue! I got home today and all this conversation and happened, so I joined in and everyone has been in bed since..... And Ill be off to bed in about 2 hours when everyone else is getting up lol!

But at least tomorrow is one day closer to a NOA and a Visa and most importantly to Chris's visit and hopefully my return home
