Marm , Dani & Chris , Habibi, Next week is your week of victory. You only need to believe and the Miracle will be yours. Still praying for all of you. Pls be strong and just know that as each day goes by you are a day closer to be with your loved ones.

My warm thoughts are with you (F)

Jaqi

Thank you so much for your support Jaqi. I am just trying to be as positive as possible and trying to keep myself as busy as possible so I don't go crazy with anticipating my approval, and I know it will be very soon for us, so I am looking forward to next week :star:

ETA: Queen of page 337...I have been queen at least 3 times this week, 3 times is a charm, right? SO WHERE ARE OUR NOA2s? CSC pple, never fear, NOA2s are very near :)

Edited by MARM

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

Marm , God just needs you to beliee and trust and for sure victory will be yours. You may have fears and what ifs but declare and speak the victory. Have a good attitude and let your inner voice speak positive things to you and for sure you will see that God's timing is always perfect. Start collecting the documents you need for the interview and prepare mentally, when the NOA2 comes you are ready.

Ill pray for you again , you did gave me hope with the many touches you received in Dec. We were touched and approved on the 15th Dec,2008 . Our status remained the same still pending to this day . w egot our NOA2 by snail mail on 24th december 2008. God will shine His light on you

Stay patient and let His will be done in your life. His timing is the perfect.

Thank you Jaqi and good luck on the interview, all should be fine :)

Thank you so much , we have put it to God and we believe He will just confirm the victory message, In Jesus name we see the victory and we are positive that ill come back with good news. He is a faithful GOD.

To Dani & Chris - The coming week is yours ! A week of victory. Dani i hope all your docs are ready coz after the NOa2 and NVC things move so fast . as for me i would have been thorough now ( rescheduled the interview earlier ) but I have to juggle work and off days to do a few things. I had to apply for the Police certificates afresh since the ones i had earler had expired and also change my passport since i realized it was expiring soon .

Been feeling crappy lately.. even though we have the NOA2, our case is in London, and the medical/interview is waiting to be set up, I can't do anything about it yet cause I'm not going anywhere for a while.

This is kind of similar to our situation. We have our NOA2, but our case is not in Zagreb. They're chewing on it at NVC, doing their mysterious AP thing. Normally, it wouldn't be that big of a deal that the case is 'delayed' somewhere, but since we don't know what's up with it, when it will come out, and how it will affect the actual interview... it's eating us alive.

Why do I say your situation is kind of similar? Because I am not going anywhere for a while either. Even if the case got forwarded to Zagreb tomorrow, I'd still have to call them and reschedule the interview for mid to late March. I have to make sure I leave myself enough time to graduate before I leave.

Either way, meh. It's something like 6 weeks and 4 days of us being stuck at NVC. And it's hard to believe that AP doesn't affect one's interview. Even though there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that could raise a red flag of any sort. Unless, of course, they make it up.

Beer pong is an American drinking that wikipedia can explain in much more detail than I ever could:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_pong

When I was in the U.K. for the year- I was asked 2 questions about being an American on a weekly basis.

#1- How on earth could you yanks have voted for George Bush TWICE? (I wasn't old enough to vote!)

#2- Do you guys really drink out of those amazing red cups at parties like they do in the movies? Yes, yes we do.

I'll pass on the info about beer pong!

Yeah, Bill always gets asked why Americans voted in Bush twice.. as if HE is America or something. ;) He just stays calm and explains that it depends on states and whatnot.

Atlantagirl, thanks for the advice about the temp agency.. that's what we're relying on right now. One of the things that I've agreed is to be more positive for the future. So hey, something could turn up.

Badgerella, I really hope you break out of your AP hole soon. If it makes a difference, people aren't usually in there for *that* long and you'll be able to continue with the process and have the K1 before you graduate, I'm sure of it. It's just annoying right now because you don't know the status.

Mara, your own cup of sunshine is coming very soon. We'll all be cheering you on when you announce that you have the NOA2, don't worry. I know it's hard waiting, but it will all fade within time. Oh, and we've stolen the Uggs too.. everyone has them! We have vegemite, but we prefer marmite, I think.. :P

Ooooh! We had a big American themed party when I was studying in the U.K. We played beer pong and blared Bruce Springsteen. Highly suggested!

Now that really does sound american themed... I mean maybe not so much the bruce springsteen but definitely the beer pong sounds like a typical american (college) party.

The neon stuff really sounds more like england... seems there is more of a 'punk' scene there than here, but... that's probably based off of movies and the english movies might tend to play it the other way...

hell they took Vegimite and dont even eat it....

I call B.S., we did not take vegimite... however, we did take mel gibson (oops maybe?) and we damn near got paul hogan (so close... crocodile dundee for those that don't automatically know who paul hogan is).

I survived the bathroom... and I survived today, which was far more brutal, carpet shampooing... seriously... I should have gotten more than 2 hours sleep lst night... I've got one last dosage of serious cleaning to do before my trip... laundry (not just the regular landry but basically washing all the things that only get washed occassionally. I think I can survive that one but I really should have knocked that off the list friday (cause everyone has to party friday... no one uses the washers/driers... sunday... there is competition).
