My RFE CAME TODAY (finally)! I woke my poor baby at 3am to tell her (LOL)! She wanted to know what it was...so I called her 3pm my time, 3am her time! (what was I thinking going half way around the world, anyway-am I insane)?

Just a color passport photo and that's it. I sent B&W they wanted color..that's it!

The paper I got from the liars office (we used lairs) said B&W or Color was OK so I sent B&W but USCIS wants color. I could snivel and whine but instead I'll next day mail them firs thing in the morning so maybe next week they'll move it on through and I CAN GET OUT OF THIS SATAN EVIL ICE FREEZING RAIN EVIL HORRIBLE WEATHER and into some sweltering, crevice-sweating heat! LOL!

Alright, got a question - can anyone help here? Grace tried to schedule the interview for her Visa. According to the embassy web-site, collect the information required, schedule the interview. Well She sent the information from Packet 3 on Friday, Tried to schedule the Interview on Tuesday. I dont know if they received her Packet # data yet or not, so that could be the problem, but ultimately, they sent an email accepting the interview, then another email that said:

"We are very sorry to let you know that your case is still under review and is not ready for an interview. We have cancelled attached interview appointment. You will be contacted when ready to proceed with the further process.

We apologize for the mistake."

Any idea why they wouldnt accept or what "under review" means at the embassy? From what I read, it seems they review the documents live and in person with the applicant. So is there some process that I am missing? Thanks.

Have you received packet 4 stating that you are good to go to schedule your interview?

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

Yeah, when we got the RFE, it was for two questions on the I-129F, where we had to write "NONE" and the lawyer/LIAR decided to skip that page all together. AND, the paper she gave us too said B&W or Color passport photos, but thank God we sent in colored photos and we thought it was weird that the paper she gave us said that...turns out these LIARS are up to no good, even with all the $$$ they take from us. I fired mine after I got the RFE because she not only caused an RFE but she ALSO put the incorrect embassy location on the I-129F, and it took me more than 3 TIMES contacting CSC to get it changed, and even now I am not sure it is changed, I will have to confirm the correction once we get approved and our case gets to NVC. Stupid lawyers

I sent back response to CSC same day in hopes of getting a faster approval, BUT...I am still waiting, even though they got the response to the RFE on Jan 06 and resumed processing. I hope that you don't have to wait as long. Look forward to your approval within the next few days :)

Someone left the snow machine on here, we have proper ground cover here, seems like we might have had a decent chunk of snow earlier this year but it was gone in two days... this snow... will probably stick around (actually it started off more like hail than snow... just little shards of ice piled up on the ground). I just looked at the 10 day forecast on weather.com and it looks like some warm weather ahead... maybe enough to get rid of this snow, I'm a little afraid that there will be some kind of delay with my flight and I won't make it for the interview (worse, I didn't mail the affidavit of support and docs, as I plan to take the docs with me... anyway, the weather has one week to clean up it's act or I'm going to deliver it a sound beating! As long as we don't get another pile of snow dumped on us all should be well!

maliciant, are you in missouri? I'm in st louis and haven't had to work for 2 days. It's been great (besides the fact that my first day of work at this new job was monday...). Have gotten lots of things done for the visa!

I read too that you are hand delivering your documents when you fly over for the interview. I'm planning on doing the same...shouldn't be a problem right? that he's doesn't have a copy of the I-134 etc.

I hope this weather warms up!! no flight delays/cancelations!

I hope this weather warms up!! no flight delays/cancelations!

I'm in missouri, they closed up early tuesday (which actually just meant everyone else left at what is my usual time to leave haha) but so far we've had work, we only get to quit when the courts are closed. Even if work was cancelled I've got a few deadlines to meet (and I get paid extra if I meet them and right now is a great time to have some extra money!) so even if the office was closed, I'd be working. I have a very 'lax' schedule at work in terms of hours worked/schedule but when things have to be done... I work whatever it takes to get them there... that with the fact I'm taking a second two week vacation (only about 5 months after the last one!) makes me kind of want to keep good attendence going... Anyway, today warmed up a lot, and the 10 day forecast looks like it's going to be pretty warm (ie above freezing) for most of the next 10 days, that gives us a pretty good chance of not having any snow on the ground by the time I fly, but even if there is, I think delays due to weather won't be likely.

The I-134 is pretty much one of the most important documents, so far as I've seen in the case of the philippines it's a make or break item, you have to have it, and you have to meet the guidelines, or no visa (sometimes people can make it without meeting the guidelines but no visa until that form has been provided). I imagine if a flight delay kept me from getting there in time to give her the documents, they'd still do the interview but she'd get a white slip detailing what she must provide before they can actually issue the visa/complete the interview. It'd take at least a 24 hour delay but probably even more than that to keep me from being there on time. It looks like most of the NWA flights out of SGF (where I'll fly out of) were cancelled today, we did get a lot of snow last night to add to our existing pile... as long as we don't get any new snow... things will be fine though (I hope). I kind of wish I hadn't looked now, now I'll be worrying about this more (they do show tomorrows flights as 'on schedule' but we'll see how that goes tomorrow).

ha, sorry to make you worry!

If I remember correctly, you posted something a while back about scheduling (difficult) flights. I'm at a loss. I need to schedule the front end of mine, wait for the visa, and then the return along with his arrival. I'm assuming you are doing something similar. how did you go about that? I was hoping to use my frequent fliers, but alas, of course they are black outed at least one day no matter how I swing it... grr....

Congrats Ranchris and colinjess :star: It is so wonderful to hear of approvals. Things will hopefully move much faster now, or seem faster considering how long the NOA2 took. We finally got the last few documents together and now are just waiting for our interview date. It is an amazing feeling for us both after almost 5 years we are finally going to be together. Good luck to everyone who is waiting.
