Someone left the snow machine on here, we have proper ground cover here, seems like we might have had a decent chunk of snow earlier this year but it was gone in two days... this snow... will probably stick around (actually it started off more like hail than snow... just little shards of ice piled up on the ground). I just looked at the 10 day forecast on weather.com and it looks like some warm weather ahead... maybe enough to get rid of this snow, I'm a little afraid that there will be some kind of delay with my flight and I won't make it for the interview (worse, I didn't mail the affidavit of support and docs, as I plan to take the docs with me... anyway, the weather has one week to clean up it's act or I'm going to deliver it a sound beating! As long as we don't get another pile of snow dumped on us all should be well!

I hope the rest of you get your NOA2s soon..because it gets exciting and things seem to get better..at least I hope so. I'm telling myself not to be too happy since anything can happen

I must agree with you on this. The grass gets greener after the NOA2's, The waiting deadlines get shorter and shorter, Plus you get busy with collecting more paperwork.

I wish all my August family the very best  and i really pray that everyone who is left, recieve their NOA2's by the end of this week. :innocent:

And all the vermont filers if you don't get it by the end of this week, don't feel bad because the weather has been really crazy out here for VCS, so hang in there.

It makes sense that VSC is experiencing delays in processing due to inclement weather. But what about CSC? Last time I checked, it doesn't snow in California! I wonder what excuse they have...

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

I talked to my family in Branson and Northern AR this morning and it's a MESS. They may have to have an ambulance come move Gma to a hosp til it all moves on (melts) so she can get her oxygen, etc. Guess it looks like a freaking war zone down towards Harrison :wow:

Alright, got a question - can anyone help here? Grace tried to schedule the interview for her Visa. According to the embassy web-site, collect the information required, schedule the interview. Well She sent the information from Packet 3 on Friday, Tried to schedule the Interview on Tuesday. I dont know if they received her Packet # data yet or not, so that could be the problem, but ultimately, they sent an email accepting the interview, then another email that said:

"We are very sorry to let you know that your case is still under review and is not ready for an interview. We have cancelled attached interview appointment. You will be contacted when ready to proceed with the further process.

We apologize for the mistake."

Any idea why they wouldnt accept or what "under review" means at the embassy? From what I read, it seems they review the documents live and in person with the applicant. So is there some process that I am missing? Thanks.
