It didn't snow last night but it sure looks like it... it's actually freezing rain... it's closer to tiny hail than snow... I should be nice and acclimated right about the time I get on a plane to a tropical paradise of heat and humidity... yikes, I grew up in alaska so I'm a bit more used to the cold... or I used to be before living in the south for the past 8 or so years... I guess you could say I'm looking forward to eating strange ethnic food but not looking forward to the 90+ degree weather... but, that's a sacrifice I have to make it seems! I'm hoping things warm up here before I get back... culture shock is enough, no need to give her the full on weather shock right away (cause seriously, it's been cold! I'm the guy you see wearing shorts in the middle of winter most years... this year... it's cold enough to wear pants).

Anyway, lots of approvals at VSC and heck, someone else has an interview appointment too, glad to see things moving along again, just need a few more CSC files to get handled with the VSC approvals and everyone can move on to being happy (ok, and anyone stuck at nvc would be nice if they could get out of that mess too).

Shan: No need to notorize it, but if you really want to you can. I will not.

Just for the interview, it is not to be sent pack with packet 3.

Dani: I just looked at the timeline of the CSC Aug filer that just got approved today (with an RFE) and they received their approval notice via snail mail, their online status still has not changed, it still says "response to request for evidence received and case processing has resumed". Maybe we will get our NOA2's in the mail first instead of the status changing online or receiving an email notice. I know VSC filers are experiencing this alot, but this is the first I have heard of a CSC filer with a mail notice first...well, whatever way, email or mail, we are LONG OVERDUE, and it should be this week for us!

Fingers crossed for us :thumbs::star:

I checked their timeline and in the comments, they mention that they got a mail notice, but status online has not changed. Member name is Amazon (Amber and Ross) approved in 161 days via snail mail, check their time line for other details. The last time I was updated was Jan 16, 09 although I have been repeatedly touched ever since beginning of December (a lot of the times due to my calls I think). So I think CRIS should be working fine, but you never know with the USCIS. Keep your hopes up, it is coming either way! :yes:
