I agree, Habibi is next (and you, too...yes you..the one sitting there staring at these words thinking "did they forget about me? What if mine is one of those that takes a year.." Yes, YOU...yours will come this next week, as well!

I was spitting nails and RFE outta the blue. I'm still not happy that some got theirs a full month and interview is on the 29th which means they could be in the US by February!!!!!! Ughhh! BUT I can only deal with what's on my plate (and i'm hungry!)

Yea, I try to keep my hopes up. I went to russia jan 6th to jan 24th to visit my sweetness.... and I hoped when I came back my NOA2 would be waiting... Nope. So, I hope this week my NOA2 comes so I can move on with this process.

Awww... Thank you all guys. You are all so sweet and this is the best group and network in the world.

I am a little better now though, just so busy at work. Thing is SO is getting depressed lately. It started last week when he told me it's getting really bad and stronger each day that he's longing for me it really brings him down. I have been trying to cheer him up but looks like I am failing miserably.

Any thoughts? He's always been the stronger person since this whole waiting game started but seems like we're switching roles lately.

I was completely giving up when I saw the touch and the next day the RFE. Look at the list; they're opening our boxes and moving us through. It's hard waiting (I was very impatient...look at my posts, they weren't positive) then BOOM, it came. An RFE is better than nothing. At least they know I'm on this earth and we exist! Trust me, we had been strained waiting...even some minor spats. Long distance is horrible...sheer horror.

My advice...talk about something else. If you must keep on subject, talk about what will be going through your minds when you come here...what you want to show, see, do, eat...think of the new foods, sights, smells (more likely than not, experience COLD).

Start fighting about wedding plans and petty things...pick a ridiculous thing to obsess over and before you know it, what you're really stressing over will be moot and at least it will become a known quantity waiting game.

You're almost FINISHED with the worst part of the entire process! I was reading some of the AOS posts and they have their own waiting game and stressors but at least they're together. Soon you'll be posting on AOS saying "I'm new here, what do I do next?" and it will start all over again!

I am so looking forward to going over there, eating cheap strange food in 90 degree heat and loving it. Not sure how fast I wanna come back (but I gotta make money).

The good thing is business is BAD right now, so it's a good time to skip out.

TRUST ME, IT'S COMING...THEY ALWAYS DO! If you need reassurance, go back and look at July, June and see how their posts diminshed into nothingness and now the blogs are dinosaus fossilizing with time. Our thread will soon be complete and all of us will be finished. Theyr'e half way through August which means they're inthe middle of our boxes, opening, approving, RFEing, etc....it's coming!

Hello all, I just found out today that we recieved our 129F Noa2, I checked everyday on the site, with no change. Today I got the mail and I had our notice approval. It was Approved January, 18. So all those in the August can see some light at the end of this tunnel.

I wish everyone a quick turn around and keep smiling, even when it is hard at times.

I would love to hear from anypone who has gone through this process and find out what is next. I spoke with my attorney, but it was not so helpful.

I will say the waiting game is very hard but the end result is like lifting a building off our shoulders.

Maliciant, you're right, sometimes you have to apply to jobs that you feel are beneath you to get by, and he's constantly going to shopping malls and hitting stores with applications, but never hears anything back. He's wondering if it's something to do with his resume or maybe him personally, but he is a really hard worker and I think he puts that across..

His field is actually I.T (technical support and web design); his job right now is getting lower and lower on hours. Sometimes he only gets about 3 hours a week.. a YEAR ago, his boss told him that he'd try to increase his hours if he's good enough and although he likes his work, he hasn't done that. Bill can't even contact him on a given day as his boss doesn't respond, just has to wait until his boss calls him for work.

Mara, I would personally wait until closer when she knows if she'll be able to make it. You want the dresses to be the same and Dave's Bridal is apparently great for cheap dresses, even at last minute. I know what you mean though, my family and friends don't know if they're coming either. It annoys me a little as I've been telling them to get passports and save for about 2 years.. now they're saying it depends on money and getting a passport, even though we're 5 months away to me leaving.. all because they didn't take it seriously and/or think about it properly.
