My guess is I claimed too little income last year and I'm too close with a house and dependents to add another for their purposes...that would be my first guess. I'm hoping for something less complicated like "you forgot to sign this, send it back"!

I doubt it is for income. Unless you just sent papers because you wanted to, there is nothing in the original package for income. I-134F is due at interview or embassy, so it shouldnt even be part of the consideration. Additionally, the requirement for K1/2 is only 100% of poverty level.

YAAAAAAYYYYYY!!! we got our APPROVAL!!!!!!!. our NOA1 was on the 14th of august 2008 and we were approved on the 16th of jan 2009. our status still says pending... our lawyer called my fiance yesterday(24th) askin if he got his own copy of the approval notice and he was wonderin if he was kiddin cos we check the site like evry now and then and it still had pending on it.. am so thankful to God cos wen we thot we were running out of time he was on time for us...God is faithful...the approval came at a time wen we were already gettin fed up of the whole process and we decided to stop thinkin about it for a minute! i wish every1 still waitin for their approval all the best and not to worry cos worrying doesnt change anything, it only makes the whole process long.. thank you my VJ family for all the support....xxx N.B , we had only one touch and dat was in dec for the change of address.

I just finish watching "the secret", every now and then when i need to focus again on what I want, I start watching it and really makes me feel so good and positive! have you guys heard about it?

Now I am going to continue reading Harry Potter ... I hope you are all having a nice and relaxing day! Getting ready for next weeks approvals!!!! no more holidays at VSC and CSC!! only our approvals

wishing us all a speedy process of KI-VISA...i notice VSC is slow this time as until now i dont hear any feedback from them about my package i sent it last june/08 ...still waiting....hoping we both can hear good news this week...

...The receipt with case number from NVC.

and

...a letter from Missouri's senator, Kit Bond.

I was expecting the same as I got from Senator Claire McKaskill (an email stating they'd get around to it in a month or so), but it said that they had already contacted USCIS and they included a hard copy of the response.

Here's where it gets interesting. I faxed Senator Bond the letter on Jan 6. His office called the USCIS on Jan 7 and received the hard copy respond which was dated Jan 7. When I got home from work on Jan 7, we were approved.

Maybe coincidence, maybe not. Regardless, all of you still waiting, if you haven't written a letter, do it. at the minimum you feel a little productive in the midst of all the waiting

i have no clue. we were at 149 days since NOA1 when I wrote. and were approved 5 months and 1 day after filing.

I did open with a line about being from the same small town where the senator lives...maybe?

but honestly, I'm impressed with the fact that 1)they did something, 2) they did something SO quickly and 3) it appears to have worked.

so it's worth a shot, if you haven't already.

we also wrote a letter to the senator and congresswoman, they reply that they contacted USCIS and that we werein the processisng time of 6 months ,.. that we might be getting approved anyday soon... that we dont, then contact them again .....

I dont know if it is just coincidence or if they really did something to improve Yader&Sarah approval! but they got approval!!! and they`re Aug Filers but we can also try it!

I am really positive and have a pretty good feeling of this next two weeks... we are closer to our 6 months of waiting ... and it also means we are closer to get our approval! so hang on there my dear friends!!!
