hey everyone, I am back from India, got back this morning... had an AWESOME time with my SO while I was there for a week... as I was leaving however, her tears nearly brought me to my knees... This past week could not have been more pathetic in terms of Government Inefficiency. Lets hope things can still recover by tonight.. it is Friday after all. Hope all you guys have a GREAT weekend, and best of luck with your NOA2's, ect.

It hurts coming back, it really does but hey we are much closer right?

This what I had to deal with on my way to the airport when I was coming back to Seattle, ughhhhh the pain but still I had to be strong for them.

In some ways being an "old" person makes this easier on us...we've got lots of living under our belts and I think it gives us more patience and also means that our kids our older and or grown and out. It's still hard but I think it's much harder on the young ones here and especially those with young children.

OHH Fred such a sad pic, we are so sad and this makes us even more :( i wish you to hold them close again soon...

I pray I will be holding them soon too! the only thing that keeps me alive is the fact that we are closer to our goal. It was hard missing one person last August when I came back on 2008 but it's hrder this time missing 3. :crying:

But like I always say in here, "GOTTA BE STRONG".....Im not just being strong here for my own family but for all of you too! I need to show that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and if it's meant to be it will all work out and fall into place, so never loose hope!

Be strong everyone for yourselves, kids if you have any and your SO!

You are a bad dungeon mistress... also, I am going to report that the evil plot to ruin my diet with pizza... has been an amazing success... the pizza came from a place named "So you want a pizza?", could have called it "Oops we dropped your pizza on the floor but it's cool, 5 second rule... mostly..." though I guess that'd take a HUGE sign so they went with the other name... but wow, it's some pretty good pizza, it's a thin crust pizza but the crust is soft... it's ridiculously tasty... Uh... I think I'll workout extra hard tonight... or something... I have definitely been naughty!

I can't wait to be back with my fiancee, it's very weird at this point where some days it's like it's forever away, days where I realized holy #######... only x days to go!!! and then the really weird days.... where I manage to not think about it at all... or at least you know, not obsessively thinking about things. For the shawshank lovers in the audience... I feel like I've become institutionalized by the K-1 process, now that I'm finally reaching the goal of getting out of this prison system it's a little scary!

Hello all, I just found out today that we recieved our 129F Noa2, I checked everyday on the site, with no change. Today I got the mail and I had our notice approval. It was Approved January, 18. So all those in the August can see some light at the end of this tunnel.

I wish everyone a quick turn around and keep smiling, even when it is hard at times.

I would love to hear from anypone who has gone through this process and find out what is next. I spoke with my attorney, but it was not so helpful.

I will say the waiting game is very hard but the end result is like lifting a building off our shoulders.

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

FRED what a sad pic :( I hope you will get to be with them for your bday:)

My babe is coming next saturday for a week ... I just dont want to think about the way to the airport It so bad, I cry almost all the way, and saying goodbye is the worst part....

HYENA and ANISA I hope after your RFE everything goes well and you get your approvals quick!

Mara, Dani, HappyDancer, Marm, .... girls, if it wasnt this week it is the next! dont you see? they are working on august cases (well this week I think everybody was on vacation) but the fact is that we are in the processing time, we still havent reach the 6 months, we are there we are closer, maybe we are losing it just because we are seeing everybody else being approved and people who filed after us .... lets just dont focus on those.... lets focus on the fact that we are close to the 6 months prossesing time, witch means we must get our approvals anyday ...

Lets focus on what we want, what we want is to get NOA2 ... so lets only think about that.... positives thoughts brings positives things!

Are you with me on this???? please girls I relly need you ALL to be with me on this,,,, I was thinking and thinking, we are losing our time and energies by crying and complaining about VSC approving everybody but us! STOP! hehehe they are going to approve us !.... OK?

I really believe in all this about feeling well, having good thoughts, and good thing will come to you, but ofcourse... some times I lose it! hehehe but I realize that we can not lose right now... now that we are so close!!!!
