I agree with Maliciant, there is no fun in waiting for NOA2, none at all! I heard from a majority of folks who said the interview is 100% better than the NOA2 wait.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

I created a new topic for this, but I am posting here for additional exposure:

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On January 6, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Is the 60 day thing a standard procedure? Or does it vary case by case or according to what the RFE was sent for?

I don't know why I read it over and over hoping that magically I will realize that I missed an important point telling me my approval is just around the corner...

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

It varies case by case.

I've seen RFE's that's been approved in a matter of days then they got their NOA2, I've seen some that went for a week or 2 and I've seen some that went on for months.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

Yikes, august is a thread full of injury prone people with medical problems... proof this process is stressful?

Next time I talk to my fiancee, she'll be telling me about her medical, today is a huge day for us, I think if the medical goes normally then we are home free! (Well, with the exception of the visa not being delivered before the flights are scheduled to leave... but going to try to pick them up instead of get them delivered, all mail people end to have a hard time finding her house, not just the regular mail but UPS and DHL, etc).

Hope the medical went well today. Fingers crossed for you!

Well vermont filers, it looks like this may just be your week, so far VSC has approved INFINITELY MORE petitions than CSC, that's right, INFINITELY MORE! With that kind of ratio I don't see how vermont filers could make it to the end of the week without an approval.

The down side is so far it's 0 approvals CSC and 1 VSC... all I can say is CSC apparently has two speeds now, warp and snooze...

haha funny maliciant! :star: Oh god, I hope! I want so much!!! we all get our NOA2 so soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this week has been so slow!!!!!!!

I want our approvals!!!!!

This waiting $uc#s! and its making me crazy

So far, its CSC=VSC with 1 approval each, I can't believe this. Before I wasn't thinking this, but now I believe that the inauguration and other centers closing had an effect on both centers and our approvals. Miraculously we still have a chance of getting approved this week if CSC and VSC start handing out approvals like mad tomorrow....

But we can't stop hoping, so hang in there!

I was lingering in the 6+months waiting club and it is a very sorry sight in there with pple that have dates from way before our NOA1s. So as long as I get my approval before I need to hop in there and introduce myself is fine, I guess. Waiting, regardless of whether its one day or six months all stinks, but all we can do is hope and stick it out together!

Fingers crossed for all of us left in here!
