I can't believe we needed to be saved again from page 2!!

Tomorrow isn't a federal holiday is it?

Also, is any one else still waiting to be received by NVC? Someone said they were all on one big truck, and if you miss one load you have to get on the next...seems way to simplistic for this process  helloworld, I want my case to be seatmates with yours on your truck! ;)

I'm actually not sure where we are. I got a letter from NVC stating that they had received the paperwork from California, and it would go to London within a week..dated the 8th. However, when I call NVC and use the ARU it says it cannot find my receipt number. Who knows...

sorry if this is a noob question, but what is ARU?

I should know this..I work around Call Center folks...ummm.....Automated Response Unit? Something like that.

oh!!!

yea, the reason the automated system can't find your number because k-1 are not entered in to the automated system, you have to speak to a live person...

you would call 603 334-0700 then in the options, choose 1 then 5

To the people who already have their NOA2, how stressful and difficult are the next steps?? And also do lawyers usually prepare the packet for the interview? Thanks

next step has been smooth so far for me, just 2 days at the NVC now my petition has headed to the consulate, regarding lawyers preparing packet, this really depends. My lawyer prepared most of it...

If everything is good, everything moves faster from NOA2. I myself is on interview stage already, just getting some forms filled and triple checked. -)

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

Habibi: When you get that NOA2 it's a big weight off your shoulders, at least for a few days, unfortunately you still get to spend time waiting after that and the novelty of the NOA2 ends pretty quick... in my own case NVC got the file fairly quick, assigned a case number and shipped it out fast... that part only took about a week from NOA2 but due to the holidays the embassy had pretty much the whole week off and then some, it's good to work at the US embassy in the philippines during holiday season... so I ended up having to wait an extra sucky week where it felt just like I was back to waiting on the NOA2... but I think I had an interview scheduled 3 weeks after the NOA2 and if I wanted (and my fiancee was prepared) she could have probably had her interview already... it went very smoothly... but the down side is not everyone is so lucky and any step of the process can have a huge delay (stuck in NVC happens).

How stressful things are after the NOA2 probably depends at least partly on if you are the USC or not, since the USC doesn't have nearly the paperwork and loopholes to jump through or have to do the medical etc... Every step is less stressful than the last, if all goes well and there is no problem.

Our case left the NVC 2 weeks ago.. haven't heard anything since.

I'm starting to get a little worried, if Royal Mail has another postal strike, I will actually march down there and yell at them.

Hey sis, I'm here. Just being quiet lately and not really in the best mood to post. So I would rather shut up or I'll start b*tching about the delay before it's over. :)

How're you?

I am trying to find one for him. Thing is, I probably gave him enough to last him a year from his vacation last Xmas. heheheheh. How about you?

I will give him kisses and hugs and my neverending love... He would have to be with me physically to feel the kisses and hugs though. :)
