Well, my fiancee should get her passport (finally) this week as well as her medical (just waiting on the passport) on thursday, it'll be nice to have that out of the way. It's kind of weird to think she'll actually be here soon, it's such a long time spent apart, such a contract from how things will be in the near future. I'm a little anxious and nervous about it all now, two weeks and one day to go though... and still, waiting sucks! (I'm an 8 year old waiting for christmas!... but will I get the Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle with a compass in the stock and a thing which tells time?)

Showing off is all I have to live for... speaking of... I just had lunch and I had a mineola with it... and there were no seeds! I RULE! Also in the spirit of showing off... I need to do some major spring cleaning soon... particularly in the bathroom :blink::help::dead: ... my thoughts are what the heck is the point of getting married if I have to clean up my own mess... but my mom and office manager seem to think it's just plain wrong to have a mess ready for her... I say why break her in slow... rip the bandaid off (also anywhere know where to get good quality shackles? They need to be strong enough to resist a hacksaw for up to 4 hours at a time...)

9/8/08: NOA1 date

11/12/08: Requested expedite (promised response by 11/17/08)

11/19/08: Received status info by calling USCIS - Additional info sent

12/4/08: Call from CSC & "Touch"

12/4/08 to 12/22/08: Too many calls & faxes to mention, NO RESPONSE!

12/22/08: NOA2 Approval!

12/30/08: NVC forwarded petition to Embassy in Tokyo

12/31/08: Letter from NVC stating they forwarded petition

1/4/09: Received Letter from NVC

1/7/09: Packet Issued from Tokyo Embassy

4/18/09: Tokyo still unable to grant interview, moved to Philippines.

6/22/09: Our daughter was born (more embassy paperwork)

6/30/09: Reqeusted transfer of case to Manila

8/26/09: Visited embassy in Manila AGAIN, personally requested transfer of case (no record in their system)

11/4/09: Case Transferred from Tokyo to Manila - no notice sent

12/5/09: Notification that Manila received the case.

12/30/09: Interview packet received from Manila

1/25/10: Medical check in Manila (took 4 days)

2/1/10: Interview - requested additional docs,

2/2/10: Additional docs submitted, Embassy kept passports - expect visa soon.

4/5/10: Received Visa FINALLY!

4/12/10: Entry to USA

I can't believe we needed to be saved again from page 2!!

Tomorrow isn't a federal holiday is it?

Also, is any one else still waiting to be received by NVC? Someone said they were all on one big truck, and if you miss one load you have to get on the next...seems way to simplistic for this process :whistle: helloworld, I want my case to be seatmates with yours on your truck! ;)

I'm actually not sure where we are. I got a letter from NVC stating that they had received the paperwork from California, and it would go to London within a week..dated the 8th. However, when I call NVC and use the ARU it says it cannot find my receipt number. Who knows... :blink:

2005- Introduced thru relatives

2006-2008- Talked on the phone and emails

2008 June 1- Went to Tashkent to meet her. Stayed in Tashkent from June 1 to July 27 2008.

2008 June 12- Engaged at the most beautiful park in Tashkent

2008 August 15 - Received NOA1 from Vermont Center

2008 August 16 - Went back to Tashkent to stay with my fiancee. I stayed with her from August 18th to November 23. The best 4 months of my life.

2008 November -25 Came back to States. I miss my sweetheart.

2009 February 4- Touched

2009 Februrary 5- NOA2 HORAAAAYYyy Thank you GOD

2009 February 12- NVC received NOA2 from VCS

2009 Ferruary 13- NVC sent the package to U.S. Embassy in Tashkent

2009 March 3- She received her Packet 3////// Her interview is on April 2

2009 March 4- I received visa to Tashkent

I should know this..I work around Call Center folks...ummm.....Automated Response Unit? Something like that.
