VSC might as well closed the office all last week, there productivity amounted to a big ZERO. Oh wait i think they processed a whopping 1 :(

Question for all of you:

Do you guys know exactly what days the CSC/VSC processing centers are closed next week?

My understanding is that CSC/VSC are only closed on Monday, Jan. 19.

Am I right?

Yes you are right. Unfortunatly they are closed monday:((((((

What forms do you need to fill out with your lawyer for the interview?? thnks

Affidavit of support (Form I-134), an updated letter of intent (to marry), gather up some supporting docs like tax transcripts for the previous 3 tax years (this is to support the I-134 as proof of income), a letter from your employer stating your income, job time, when you were hired and hopefully something positive like they currently plan to keep you around... but basically, the only form is that I-134... for the USC... his fiancee has to deal with DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157 (I think these are standard regardless of embassy) and there is a form for the children too, but that I don't know off the top of my head...

(Answered in priv but since it's asked in two places...) I'm in springfield MO

Thank You for anwering that for me homie!

You can do whatever you want but uh... I have to ask... why? They will be needed by the embassy, so your fiance will have to get them from you by mail... also it might depend on the country too... I know in the philippines 157 comes from paying the visa fee at the bank, it's also available online but the bank has to validate it (I assume this is like notorizing it but I don't know). I believe the embassy will want ORIGINALS of these forms with her signature etc... so really I think it's best to let your fiancee fill them out....

The forms are in English right? Or Not? My fiancee does not know English, she would not be able to translate them and then fill them out correctly. If i am wrong please correct me, i don't know about those procedures. Thanks

dowload copies then fill it out and send it to her so she knows what to write. just make sure she makes a fresh copy herself so its in her handwriting and an original

if you download, you cant save changes you make, so you need to save as a different file type or print to a file. Maybe easiest to complete, print, then re-scan to email or fax.

I guess that makes sense, since the forms can be filled in electronically it makes perfect sense to fill them out and send her the final result, to have her sign and date it. Is it that she speaks no english or poor english? The interview itself my be difficult for her, so I'm assuming you are fluent in her langauge, are you able to make the interview with her? I realize the official red flag is not having a common langauge but I strongly suspect that in many cases not speaking english will make it much harder to pass the interview (especially if they don't do something as simple as providing non-english instructions for forms which is relatively easy to do compared to translating someone in person).
