Today is my 165 days and no answer yet. I think this is getting dippressing.

Gemmie - congrats on the platinum membership. Oh gosh, and I thought I was not normal. It took me a long time to finally make this confession. I though I was the biggest whiner in the world of waiting. Patience is just not my most admirable qualities. LOL

Mara - It's called girl power! That's the reason why they are head over heels in love with us. We are so fabulous despite being whiney. Agree, sisters?

Dani - what's up with you sis? So far, you, me and Mara are still in the dark... My grass skirt has been put to rest. I realized my boss was glaring at me from my desk because I have been so unproductive. Good thing he loves me like his own child I get to keep my job! LOL

Haha is that the reason, because seriously somedays I wonder with the physco emotional moments Ive been having lately, something thats really not like me at all so then I berate myself for that and it just gets worse....

i have been around sis, dont feel like posting too much, waiting as usual and try to keep myself busy with plenty of work

plus i installed the new windows 7 so this thing kept me really away from here, its a beta version and had to fix some problems with it

i envy you HD and Mara for the warm weather, here's extremely cold, even the ATM machines are frozen

i feel like i'm living in the north pole

i hope there will be some great news for us and the rest waiting,

It is warm here, its also been raining, 30% of my state has been declared a disater area and 50% is flooded..... got love the moonson season...

Hi there!.

I never asked them but maybe you can try. What I did is with the date on the letter with the case number I went to the DHL webpage and click tracking by ref. and put fo example if your letter is dated January the 6th put EXP 02 Jan 2009. Then in the list of packages shipped look for the one going to your city consulate or embassy.

H.D. Mara and Dany: I'm so sad your case is still pending what would be the cause?

Guys little help here pls, i got a question: Does NVC give the shippment tracking Number when they send your case to the consulate?, I know they ship petitions through DHL.

Because USCIS likes to toy with people's emotions and the guys processing our cases have had extended holidays and the flu since we filed...... In all seriousness however, mine was held up because of Chris' security Clearance with the US government, but we know that DISCO has done everything they needed to do and the case was sent back to USCIS On the 29th of Decemeber......

I am hitting 140s in my days of waiting since NOA1... This is NOT funny!

Don't panic yet, we were approved just after 141 days.

150 days since we sent ours in, still no NOA1 to count from lol. However Chris is making an appointment with USCIS for this week (he's meant to be doing that today..... along with finalising our reception venue lol) he is going to get our case number, a copy of our NOA1 and if the gods are being nice a copy of our NOA2... here's to hoping.

On the postive today I have a rainbow post! I am meant to be going shopping to look at bridesmaid dresses with my sister today, Chris and I have decided we are going to have a purple theme for our wedding party... now just to figure out what type of purple lol.... Dark we thinks.

My mood yesterday was so sour. I went from crying to laughing for the mere stupid joke, then crying again... and I feel so bad, my SO tried his very best to cheer me up and he is saying sorry for failing miserably... Why do we have to put up with all the ####### USCIS is doing?

I tried to call the automated NVC line and it said they didn't have our case number in their system... but this was under the option for 'immigrant visas'. (Option 1) Then I selected option '2', which covered fiancé visas, but it said it would connect me to an operator. Isn't there an automated way to check the status of fiancé visa cases?

Looking way into future------

Once my fiancee needs to pick up her packages from the embassy, can the package 3 be picked up physically by her instead of it being mailed to her. The mail system is very unreliable in Tashkent. Has anyone gone thru this?? Thanks

Hi Furious Biscuit, you should call and talk to a life person as we did. Our petition got approved the same day (Jan 6) as your's and NVC recieved out case on (Jan 8) and they sent it out to the US embassy in Nigeria yesterday (Jan 12) so you should call and give them your USCIS reciept number, you may call later in the Night before 12am eastern time, few customers calling at that time, good luck on the rest of the Journey............

I am already on 150 days!!! I am getting a litle frustrated....
