Hi everybody! I am sorry I dozed off after I posted my good news. Thank you Dani and Noa&Mia. It feels really good to know that they are at least still checking on our files. I was almost to the point of giving up last week - just came out of the hospital, going to be on medical leave for a month and not sure if I still have a job when I get back to work, and no nothing from USCIS. It was AWFUL!!!

Gemmie, wish you luck and all the best on your trip on Wednesday. Break a leg! Please be safe and I will be praying for you.

Here's the thing that I have noticed for most of the VSC filers:

1st Touch ---- Acceptance- triggers the first update after they receive the payment.

2nd Touch ---- about 5 weeks after they have received your case

3rd Touch ---- about two months after the 2nd touch

NOA2 --------- immediately or a week after the 3rd touch.

Now this is just purely my observation. it doesn't happen to all cases at the VSC but, it's generally what I have observed. For CSC on the other hand, it is similar however, there is at least 3 months of gap from the 2nd and 3rd touch.

Whatever the case may be, I hope we are all on the same path. Please God, touch the hearts of these people who will be processing our petitions.

I am also worried about the upcoming elections. That could potentially slow down the whole process. Oh well... Hang in there everyone.

Happy Dancer, have faith in the good, things cant be that bad as they look, we all have times when we wanna give it up and then when we look back at everything we went thru we are strong again, you know these words What dont kill us makes us stronger as long as we are still alive we can do it i dont know if CSC give any touches at all? Touch is something nice gives you hope you're not forgotten somewhere in the "dust"

Very true Dani. Although when it comes to the people we love, it is the hardest thing to handle because they are the most valuable in our lives. Oh well, I know the Big Guy up there is watching us. I do have faith and I know I will get there. Good luck to all of us!

That's one of the things I look forward to. If only it isn't much of a pain in the a$s to go to the US anytime then I would be there every time I get the chance. At least my holidays will not be lonely.

Great news happy dancer!!! I checked today no touch

i only got 38 days till i see my Jess! cant wait! she is visiting Engalnd for the first time! anyone got any ideas of what i could show her!!

we havent got our hardcopy of NOA1 yet how important is it! we filled 18 aug we got the EAC number off the check which has been cashed!!

Hey Mark,

I have a feeling you will have one soon. It's really weird. I don't know how the whole system works there. Maybe they have people for different states? Oh well, it's not for me to know.

The bad thing though is because their automatic email notifications are not working. Any advise? That is really inconvenient.

No updates for me since 8/18/08. I don't even check that often anymore.

Any count down over 30 days... just seems like an eternity, probably better not to think about it at all until it's closer, a 90 day countdown probably puts you pretty close to going for a visit around the time you should get a NOA2... My next visit with my fiancee will most likely not be scheduled until her interview date is set... if I had a count down it'd probably be something like 150 days (and hopefully that's not hopeful thinking only).

All these touch reports make me want to go to the USCIS site... just in case!... but so far they are only VSC filers seeing them... once a CSC filer get's a touch I'll be on the USCIS site 3 or 4 times a day even if I don't expect to see anything.

Waiting sucks, but the more we focus on that, the longer it'll seem to take.
