My SO is threatening to ban me from VJ again if I don't stop whining. God help me and VSC too.

Bill said that too.. while we were waiting, I would whine about the others getting approved or about others visiting by lying at POE and getting away with it. But he should know by now that without VJ, we wouldn't have gotten this far! :P

Gemmie - congrats on the platinum membership. Oh gosh, and I thought I was not normal. It took me a long time to finally make this confession. I though I was the biggest whiner in the world of waiting. Patience is just not my most admirable qualities. LOL

Mara - It's called girl power! That's the reason why they are head over heels in love with us. We are so fabulous despite being whiney. Agree, sisters?

Dani - what's up with you sis? So far, you, me and Mara are still in the dark... My grass skirt has been put to rest. I realized my boss was glaring at me from my desk because I have been so unproductive. Good thing he loves me like his own child I get to keep my job! LOL

i have been around sis, dont feel like posting too much, waiting as usual and try to keep myself busy with plenty of work :)

plus i installed the new windows 7 so this thing kept me really away from here, its a beta version and had to fix some problems with it :)

i envy you HD and Mara for the warm weather, here's extremely cold, even the ATM machines are frozen

i feel like i'm living in the north pole :D

i hope there will be some great news for us and the rest waiting,

Vista is very complicated for me, the new technologies are more after simplicity and this is how windows 7 it is, i like it, there are some bugs of course being a beta version but in generally much better than anything they new, completely different look and i believe its faster, very easy to work it, i'm a tester Microsoft gives free trial till august so i toke it :)

I prefer when it comes to computer to do the work mostly by itself, not asking me all kinds of things lol :)

you said it, girls! if my SO could figure out a way to ban me from VJ, I think he would do it in a heartbeat. But well said, Gemmie. If it weren't for VJ I think I would still be waiting unproductively, intead of the much more proactive (and slightly psycho  ) approach I've learned here! so thanks all

And good luck to those still waiting, VSC really does need some encouragement. maybe some love letters or something?

No threats from my SO to ban me from VJ... probably cause I do my whining here mostly and spare her the details of others being approved ahead (at least in a negative light... the most negative thing I ever said was something like a filer got approved in 19 days... but it was at VSC...). I do get the occassional "how did you find out about that?" response from her as a result of information I provide her as a result of reading here... what she's more likely to ban me from is staying up so late... of course she has no hopes of enforcing that one long distance!... might be hard to enforce short distance!... I'm kind of a night owl...

I see according to igor's VSC already has an approval this week showing... not bad... and then CSC... has 11!!?! (on a monday, already???). Something has definitely changed about CSC, I don't know if it's just everyone there had a great christmas and is refreshed and ready to hammer things out... but I strongly suspect something more significant has occured, I guess if CSC keeps the pace up for another month we'll have to speculate about whether the bar was lowered somehow or what... there is also the issue of how out of order the approvals seem to have become since december too, they are working at warp speed but a lot are getting left behind with no explaination and no reason to believe there is a reason.

I kind of doubt anything actually changed, except maybe the number of applicants. I wonder if there is a significant decrease in 2008. It was a pretty bad year for our economy. Maybe the economy shouldnt affect who people fall in love with so much, but It seems that since the economy is bad, people cant afford to travel, so they dont meet others, so their would be less filers. No idea if that is true or not.

Maybe if that is true, it will allow AP to catch up faster too.

Then again, maybe I am just being optomistic.
