Ill just stick to what the people at the embassy ask for, so I will take the whole bunch of documents I got from my tax preparer!

I was confused cause I could recognize the w-2 it says in the paper "W-2" but the other papers with the details must be the 1040. Right?

1040 is the main tax form you file at the end of the year. If you use tax transcripts I don't think you need the W-2 and 1040 (if you go the 1040 route I think you have to include the entire set of forms you filed for taxes). I ordered tax transcripts and they took about a week to get to me, they are no charge, you go through an automated tedious system to get them. Push the number of the option, are you sure you want this option, did you say yes, please confirm that you pushed 1 for yes, ok, you pushed yes, would you like to go back to the previous menu and change your mind?

As to your AP situation badgerella, I was reading in the July 08 filers thread, someone was put on AP at NVC and just got out of it after 7 weeks...it is so frustrating not knowing when to expect freedom from AP once they put you under it...I really hope it doesn't happen to our case, and for you, I really hope you get out of it fast!

Many people got out of AP last week, according to the thread in the NVC subforum, after a 7 week wait... Hopefully our time is about to come, too.

It's a monday, I need some excitement... and the august thread is where I get it!... so someone, hurry up and get approved and tell us about it (I'm also willing to accept non-NOA2 related good news).

I feel obligated to post here even though I have nothing new to say... my fiancee is gathering various documents, the CENOMAR required for the philippines apparently takes 2 weeks to be released, everything looks good for the interview assuming no problems with her passport or the medical, I keep finding myself thinking we're already approved and it's just a matter of showing up, having a good time in the phils, and flying home... but there is still a lot that can go wrong, I don't really expect any problems at this point, my biggest fears are something like TB coming up at the medical (since so many posts in the phils forum about medical problems are due to TB) and getting a psycho CO for the interviewer, I haven't seen any posts where the fiance was allowed to attend the interview with the fiancee in quite a while and plenty saying they weren't so I don't really expect to be able to do much more than be in the lobby while she does the actual interview.

I'm with Gemmie on these forums being a blessing and a curse, you find so much valuable information, but a lot of the time you are reading horror stories about relationships that seemed great until a green card was obtained or the even scarier issues of hitting a review or security check or any other horror story type event in the process. Then there is the morale boosting stuff like seeing people getting NOA2's... and knowing your turns coming up... followed by being passed up or whatever else happens that can just darken your day as a result of visitting VJ. I'm feeling pretty lucky overall so far with the process itself, as much as it sucks waiting, I see other peoples timelines who were receiving NOA2's when I was filing the original petition and they are just now getting to interviews or receiving visa's from interviews passed months ago... it makes me appreciate how lucky I have been to only wait the amount of time that I have, hopefully I won't get any surprises on the way. I'm about 3 weeks away from being back with my fiancee hopefully to begin our life TOGETHER instead of apart, and man the days are moving slow, it's almost like the start of the process again, we were blowing through weeks without hardly noticing them and now... each hour slowly ticks by again... almost done but waiting still sucks!
