ANOTHER APPROVAL -September filer at the VSC!!!!!!!! How can this be???? Record approval everybody. 4 freaking days! No expedite, no special filing, no nothing! What is the deal with VSC????

I am happy for this person who got approved that fast! But why does it have to be bloody slloooooowwww for us???

Just need to vent. I hate the red tape and all the stupidly irrational waiting period!

Hi Michelle. Welcome aboard the Aug/Vermont/K1 thread. My petition package arrived in Vermont on Wed morning according to DHL tracking, so I guess the next step is to wait and see when the check will clear and to receive official notification that from Vermont that it was received. What is most important for me to know right now that everything has been submitted correctly and that it is just then a waiting game for it to move through the processing stages.

i just joined and filed aug 1 -130 and sept k-3 visa still trying to get this post thing !! filed to vermont assie mate still cant post any thng in my profile maybe its me ! Yes the waiting game not good at that my self !!

hello everyone! wow, it is SLOOOW huh? Why July next year Gemmie? Does this have anything to do with school? Miss my honey so very much. One day feels like eternity. Now a month feels like light years... hahahahha!!!

Starting to dread looking at the Uscis site, and it is early days for me, just that feeling of deep disappointment with no touches and no approval.

You are only 49 days after your NOA1, you need to lower your expectations just a little more and not expect an approval soon, al of us here have a long way to go. Be lucky you are with the VSC and not the CSC.

I know sorry, i know others been waiting longer than we have just frustrating thats all.

And i have been advised not to travel until its all done so it sucks.

Yes it is but you have to be strong and hang in there, in time you will be getting approved, infact way ahead of me, 30 days ahead, HAHAHAHA! see, that should put a little smile on your face right?

It didnt bring a smile thinking you have even longer to wait makes me sad.

Good luck with your journey, im just venting here as others are experiencing same thing.

friends not going through the visa nightmare dont understand how it feels to be apart from the one you love. and i do appreciate that some here have been apart longer than us.

We should have started this whole thing months/years ago but we worried bout having the right lawyer etc, had we known about this site prior to filing we wouldnt have used a lawyer at all and saved some money.

It's ok, venting is good, releases stress. Don't feel bad, you did what you had to do, I have a lawyer but my case is different, I have kids involved with mine and my lawyer is a childhood friend.

I have kids involved too, but a very unco-operative ex husband, i have to wait to see if visas are approved then go to UK court to apply to remove children from the jurisdiction, last time i brought my children to the States i had to leave a $9000 deposit with the British Court. I have a prohibited steps order for them and have to apply to court everytime they want to leave country.

Think yourself very lucky Donna.

You have found the person you love from across an ocean and put in the steps to be together.

You have your NOA1 and even a touch, just remember, it is hard now, but in the grand scheme of things 6 months apart is only going to make your relationship, your ability to talk and share and your love stronger.

On a side note, Chris rang USCIS last week, as we still have not got our NOA1 hardcopy, and they will be sending it through to his work. So I might actually get a date for mine rather then a "your in the system". The really frustrating bit was that when the electronic check went up on the system it was so blurred that it was unreadable, so we can't even log onto the website to check it *headdesk*. Hopefully we will have our dates this week.....

I was amazed to see the September Guy who got approved in like a week too, very jealous lol! But it looks like VSC is already approving the first couple of weeks in June so I am quietly optimistic that we wont be too far down the track! Woot

Stick in there August, we can do this

I understand.

As great as my friends are, they can never really understand what it feels like to have to put their relationship out there for others to judge and grant you the permission to be together. Or understand how heartbreaking saying goodbye is at the airport. I'm leaving on Wednesday and I'm terrified.

At least you've found VJ now though so you can use us as support.

Mara, I hope you get your hard copy very soon, at least you're getting somewhere with them! And know that your file is there.
