Just called NVC, had a long hold... but they still say it was sent on the 31st of dec so look like I am probably good to schedule the interview (based on MMA having the same received date at the same embassy). So schedule the interview tonight, buy plane tickets tomorrow... and hope everything else goes smooth. I know the next month will be torture and all but it'll be pretty comforting to get solid dates set.

Judge Fudge has no time for fools, he's too busy being delicious... No idea why that popped into my head when writing the word smooth but haha... judge fudge rules!

As king I demand... that everyone has a happy birthday... seriously... right now! (also I saw earlier CSC is up to 14 approvals and VSC 9... this is a fairly promising week so far... also you can find the new VJ igor list in the site discussion forum at the bottom of the list of forums... it should be one of the recent topics)

The call center is absolutely worthless. I called them and asked about my case and they gave the same excuse of working on cases for March 2008. I asked them why they have not updated their website since November and they have the nerve to give excuses that they only update it when there is a change and there have not been recent approvals past the March date. Also they would not let me speak to a supervisor and can not give me any more information at this time. They suggested that I write the VSC a letter to see if they will respond. Well isn’t that helpful. According to their information everyone who has received an NOA2 past March is dreaming about imaginary NOA2’s. I don’t even have words for this lack of consideration. Just say you won’t give me information instead of lying about no approvals past March. I don’t mind waiting so much it is that I want to be able to plan things. And there is the whole ocean between us for over 4 years now I am sick of.

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to baptise the baby even without a marriage.. I know people that have baptised their children and aren't even religious.

I'm still waiting on that approval for you guys!

Yeah, and even if you get the NOA2 doesnt mean your stress will go away. There is always the chance of getting stuck in NVC or other issues (like mine).

For me, my fiancee must attend in interview in her country of residence. Her daughter is still in the philippines. The visas are tied together, so I either need to expedite a visa for her daughter to Japan (not being a Japanese citizen makes that even more difficult), or after my Fiancee's interview, request the case to be transferred to manila so her daughter can then get an interview. So either way I go, I have a delay. But the good news is nothing is rejected for anyone so far, so that means things ARE progressing - even if it is just time progressing, it is one day closer.
